Hamilton is the Waterfall Capital of the World!

Hamilton is the Waterfall Capital of the World!

Sherman Falls and Tiffany Falls are nice ones to check out while in Ancaster. Spring is a great time for waterfalls and short little hikes! Click below to visit Tourism Hamilton's waterfall guide page.

Royal Botanical Gardens

Royal Botanical Gardens

The RBG is Canada’s largest botanical garden, with over 2,100 acres of gardens and nature sanctuary. There is so much to see and our engagement photos were mostly taken at their Arboretum. Vanessa's dad Mike worked here for most of his career and Vanessa was also working here when we first met. Click below to visit their website.

Westfield Heritage Village

Westfield Heritage Village

1049 Kirkwall Road, Hamilton, ON L0R 1X0, Canada

This historical village is located close to the Tombolini's home and so is a favourite place of ours to visit and walk the dogs. Westfield Heritage Village Conservation Area is a living history museum and conservation area. As one of Ontario’s most interesting historical destinations, it boasts a stunning collection of over 35 restored historical buildings, nestled within 204 hectares of conservation land featuring woodlands, meadows, and trails.

Locke Street Shopping

Locke Street Shopping

246 Locke St S, Hamilton, ON L8P 4B9, Canada

The address above is for Donut Monster, a good place to start! When Vanessa and I met, I lived near Locke St S, and we still often visit to walk down the street and patron the various shops and eateries. Click below to learn more.
