Kent & Sarah were first introduced by a mutual friend, Cole Matoska, Sarah was friends with in middle and high school and Kent served with in the Army. After only a few months of facetime calls and texting, Sarah flew down to Fort Bragg to meet Kent in person for the first time. After the scariest drive of Sarah's life (Stephanie, my experiences with you are a close second), she spent a long weekend with Kent and they were almost inseparable after that! When Kent processed out of the Army in July 2022, they moved into an apartment in Oshkosh, Wisconsin while she finished college at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. Following Sarah's graduation from UW-Oshkosh, they took a trip to Door County to celebrate! Much to Sarah's surprise, Kent proposed to Sarah during this trip on June 9, 2023 in Door County! She immediately said YES! After settling into their next apartment in Waukesha, they immediately adopted their first rescue dog, Maverick. He immediately became the light of their lives! In April 2024, they purchased their first home together and quickly adopted another dog, Willow! As most of you know, she certainly has brought some spice into our lives! Well, now you all know why this has taken us so long! After lots of time spent thinking and praying, we decided a simple elopement was what we truly wanted. We will officially tie the knot on June 6, 2026 in Door County, WI in a small, private story! We are beyond excited to celebrate with all of you! We realize there is never a great time to be able to accommodate everyone's schedules, but we hope to celebrate with you on Saturday, August 15th at our reception hosted in Union Grove, WI! If you are unable to make it, we look forward to celebrating with you personally in the near future!
