Yosemite National Park

The entrance to Yosemite is a quick 3 minute drive from Rush Creek! From the gate, it is a 45 minute drive to the valley floor. For those of you who would like to visit this national treasure, reservations are not needed on weekdays. If you are planning to go on a weekend day, you will need a reservation to enter the park. The information for this can be found on the park website. Rush Creek offers a shuttle service in/out of the park, so check out their website for information. If wanting to tent camp, stay in tent cabins in Curry Village, or book lodging inside the park, make sure to book ASAP as accommodations fill up quickly. Favorite Hike: The Mist Trail to Vernal and Nevada Falls Favorite Food: Ice Cream and Pizza at Curry Village for after the hike! Favorite Waterfall: Yosemite Falls (the hike to the top is very challenging but the valley offers wonderful views of this!) Favorite View: Mirror Lake looking up at Half Dome Favorite Drivable Lookout: Tunnel View

Want to visit the oldest continuously operating saloon in California? Well, you're in luck! It is a quick 20 minute drive from the venue. They have great bar food, a great beer selection, and make sure you bring a dollar bill to sign and put on the wall!
