When should I arrive?
Answer
Seating will begin at 4:30 PM. We ask that you arrive with plenty of time to pick your seats before the ceremony begins.

Where will I park?
Answer
There will be parking in the grass once you drive down the peninsula. We will have handicapped parking available.

What should I wear?
Answer
The wedding is semi-formal, so we encourage you to wear cocktail attire.

Will there be assigned seating?
Answer
Please sit anywhere you would like for the ceremony! However, the first few rows will be reserved for family. There will be assigned tables at the reception, so make sure to check out the seating chart during cocktail hour!

Are there nearby accommodations?

Mariners Landing is located on Smith Mountain Lake only minutes from our wedding location. They are beautiful condos with plenty of amenities for you to enjoy during our wedding weekend.

When should I RSVP by?
Answer
We ask that you RSVP no later than April 1, 2024.

What will weather conditions look like?
Answer
Our ceremony will be outdoors, but we anticipate a lovely day for mid-May. Should there be any inclement weather, the pavilion can be enclosed for the reception.

Are children allowed?
Answer
Due to limited seating, the only children we have invited are part of the wedding party and immediate family. So relax and enjoy your evening away!

Will you be serving food?
Answer
Absolutely. We will have appetizers during cocktail hour. Dinner and cake/cupcakes will follow.

Am I allowed to take photos at the wedding?
Answer
The more photos, the merrier! However, we ask that you put your cellphones away/on silent only during our ceremony. We have a wonderful photographer who will be capturing the ceremony for us!
