Noah and Kensi weren't supposed to fall in love. No really, this whole thing wasn't supposed to happen. First they spent years just barely missing out on meeting each other all throughout high school, then by the time they actually met each other at Domino's, neither had any interest in being in a relationship at all! They both truly met during their time as delivery drivers at Domino's, but that didn't seem to accelerate their timetable by too much, as they became friends, they gradually grew closer together until summer rolled around. Both of them were dying to go to the beach, but didn't have anyone to go with. The answer seemed pretty obvious to this pair of absolutely platonic besties, they could go together! The beach trip came and went and they had a blast, but one thing was missing, though they didn't know it yet - romance. Summer neared its end, the pair was still the best of friends, hanging out whenever there was even the slightest excuse, some may have even seen it as writing on the wall. The time came for Kensi to take a 10-day trip out west with another friend. This was the trip that changed everything. You see, even though they weren't together, something about the distance and time apart started to get to Noah, so much so that by the time day 9 rolled around, he wasn't sure he'd make it another day without seeing her. Little did Noah know that thousands of miles away on the west coast, Kensi had started to feel the same. Day 10 couldn't come quickly enough. Noah wished Kensi a safe flight home and with that, time slowed to a crawl as he waited for that flight to land. Those hours felt like torture for Noah. After months, he had finally realized his true feelings, and now he couldn't even tell her until the plane landed. It didn't take long after receiving the "Just landed" text from Kensi for Noah to completely chicken out of the idea of telling her, but he did come up with a plan to bring her food once she got back to her house, just as an excuse to see her. To Noah's credit, he didn't make her wait too long to confess how he felt. It took him a couple more days to get up the nerve to tell her. Needless to say, that conversation went pretty well for the pair. Confessions of "liking" each other gradually turned into confessions of love. The weeks and months after were full of dates and beach trips, the couple couldn't have been happier. As they continued to fall in love, Noah realized that Kensi was the person for him, the one person who fit just right. So while she was in North Carolina training for her swanky new job as a Leasing Agent, Noah went to visit her mother and step-father to receive their blessing. He left with the ring that her late Father had given her mother and a plan. Noah spent the next morning road tripping, heading to North Carolina with the surprise of a lifetime for his Love. He arrived at her job's training location and it wasn't long before he was down on one knee, without a doubt in his mind, asking the girl of his dreams, the love of his life, his best friend to marry him. She said yes :)
