Deer Valley Lodge & Golf

For families with children staying the weekend, the waterpark at Deer Valley Lodge may be a fun choice! While we do not have a room block for this location, the shuttle will be provided from here on a limited schedule the day of the wedding. 10 minutes from ceremony. 11 minutes from reception.

Flight

Dane County Regional Airport

This is our recommendation if If you’re flying in from within the U.S. It's the closest airport to our wedding events (~45 minute drive) and is quick and easy to navigate. We recommend renting a car at the airport and driving to the wedding area. Ridesharing services like Uber and Lyft, while popular in Madison, are not as available or reliable in Mount Horeb or Blue Mounds. If you have any issues or questions about this, feel free to contact the bride or groom.

Flight

O'Hare International Airport

For guests traveling from abroad, flights into O'Hare International Airport (ORD) in Chicago may offer more options and lower fares. From Chicago, you can either rent a car and drive to the Madison area (about 2.5–3 hours) or take a bus to Madison. We should be able to help coordinate a pickup from Madison. Feel free to reach out to the bride or groom in advance if that would be helpful. If you plan to take the bus, book a Van Galder bus from the O'Hare International Airport to the Madison UW Campus. You should buy this ticket in advance of the trip.
