When should I RSVP by?

We will be sending out offical RSVP's with additional information.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Plan on arriving at least 30 minutes ahead of time. Add an extra 10 minutes to the GPS to account for getting to the top of the mound and parking. If driving your own vehicle, it will need a Wisconsin State Park Pass or you will need to pay the daily fee of $13. If you take the hotel shuttle, no State Park Pass is needed. For those with children, there is a playground at the top of the mound to use ahead of the ceremony.

Where's the bathroom at the ceremony!?

Answer

Be aware, we are hosting the ceremony at the rustic ampitheater of Blue Mounds State Park. There are vault toilets at the top of the mound and normal toilets at the friends shelter halfway up. Please plan on buffer time if you'd like to utilize the real toilets before the ceremony.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! Your children are welcome at our ceremony and reception. Please ensure they are all included in the RSVP information to ensure childrens meals are appropriately accounted for. Additionally, please utilize the playground ahead of the ceremony with bribes of snacks and more playtime after. Be aware there will be adults partaking in the open bar at the reception. We are not responsible for anything they are exposed to.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There will be plenty of parking for the ceremony and reception though we highly recommend carpooling or using the shuttle if staying at the GrandStay in Mount Horeb.
