How to reach Roche Harbor from the Seattle area:
Step 1: Either drive or shuttle from Seattle to the Anacortes ferry terminal. ~ 2-3 hours (fluctuates with traffic).
Step 2: Drive or walk onto the Anacortes-Friday Harbor ferry. ~ 2-hour travel time on ferry. Recommend purchasing tickets in advance and arriving at terminal 1-hour early.
Step 3: Drive or taxi from Friday Harbor to Roche Harbor. ~20-min.
Recommended itinerary:
THURSDAY, MAY 12
fly into SeaTac Airport
stay one night in Seattle or near Anacortes.
FRIDAY, MAY 13
Travel to Anacortes and catch ferry to San Juan Island. You will want to reserve ferry spot in advance. We will send a reminder when ferry bookings become available in the Spring.

Reverse your route: ferry, drive, airport, fly. Allow ~5 hours to get to the airport (depending on ferry crossing times)
