What will the weather be?

Answer

It's beautiful on the island in May, but there's a wide range of potential weather. Average high temperatures are upper 50s and lows in the low 50s/high 40s. It could reach 70 degrees and the sun will feel warm. It's likely to rain at some point during the weekend, but will likely be brief and light or just a mist. We recommend bringing layers! It's the Pacific Northwest thing to do.

Should I bring my children?

Answer

Our priority is that you be present. We trust your judgment on whether your children should attend a wedding. See also vaccination Q. We can help arrange childcare if needed. Children who misbehave will sleep with the fishes.

Should I be vaccinated?

Answer

Yes! Some of our guests will be older and/or have pre-existing conditions. For your safety, all staff working the wedding will also be vaccinated. For outdoor events, children who are too young to be vaccinated may attend. However the wedding reception is indoors and so we ask only children who are vaccinated be present. We can help secure on-site childcare if necessary. Please let us know if this is the case.

What's the dress code?
