How will the weather be?

Well, I highly advise checking weather.com prior to packing. It is South Dakota and whether it is spring time or a snow storm, is yet to be determined. :)

SOUTH DAKOTA? Do we need to bring camping gear?

Answer

There are plenty of great camping spots around South Dakota however; leave the camp gear behind as we will be staying at the beautiful K Bar S Lodge in Keystone. Perched high in the Black Hills surrounded by hiking trails, this modern lodge is 3.3 miles from Mount Rushmore and 0.5 miles from the Keystone 1880 steam train.

Will we need a rental car?

Answer

K Bar S Lodge is 30 miles from Rapid City Regional Airport. I will have to look into transportation options to and from the airport. If you would like to partner up to save some money, I can help coordinate that. Once we have an idea of when we will be there and when some local family and friends will be there, we can possibly set up a few rides. Please keep us posted in your travel plans.
