People

Meet our people. We asked them each to share a word of advice or encouragement to celebrate our day.

Moira Horrocks

Mother of the Groom

Darling Sam, Your move to the States was fortuitous. Yes, we all missed you but were happy for you and one of the reasons you were sent there, I believe, was to meet Kennedy. When you find the one you wish to travel with along this undulating life road, you feel so lucky! You love and you feel loved. Some words of wisdom and advice; hold hands through thick and thin, work side by side, not alone. Together. Respect and compromise will see you through life’s curved balls of which there will be many. It is a crazy but very beautiful world out there and yes; life is short but grab it with both hands but grab it together. May you both be blessed with good health, love, laughter and joy. Sending you so much love, Mum.

Charles Elliott

Father of the Groom

If we want a garden, We can sew the seed To plant a little hapiness and Let the roots run deep If its love that we give Than it's love that we reap.

Nicole Vermilion

Mother of the Bride

A strong marriage requires two people who choose to love each other even on those days when they struggle to like each other. Love you both, Mom

Amy Hardy

Mother of the Bride

Each day remember your love for one another. Remember that God put your two lives together to create an adventure and to touch the lives of those around you. Never take time for granted and remember to pull an ear now and then. Love you both very much, Amy

J.W. Hardy

Father of the Bride

"Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor" - Ecclesiastes 4:9 May your love grow for each other more with each passing day. Love, Dad

Hannah Elliott

Sister of the Groom

I couldn't be more happier for you both. It brings me so much joy to know that my brother is marrying such an incredible woman who brings out the best of him and makes him so happy. Sending so much love and cannot wait to celebrate in person when we can!

Traevin Hardy

Brother of the Bride

Dear Kennedy, next time I see you, you will probably have an Australian accent - I love you. Dear Sam please take care of my big sister. -Your little bro

Matthew Drake

Brother-in-Law To-Be of the Groom

Wishing you both the best! Looking forward to seeing you together next year and hope you have an incredible day celebrating.

Logan Vermilion

Sister of the Bride

I’m so happy for you two, love you Kiki! 💛

Kendall Vermilion

Aunt of the Bride

Sam & Kennedy, I couldn’t be more excited for the two of you. You have chosen to accompany one another down life’s path. Along this path you will encounter so many things…wonderful things, scary things, funny things, hard things. In all things, protect and preserve one another. Choose one another above all others. Cherish one another even when the hard things come. Celebrate one another when the wonderful things come. Respect one another always, and above all else, love one another completely. I feel honored and happy to watch you start down this path. I can’t wait to see where it takes you. Love you both so very much. Always, Aunt Kendall
