When should I RSVP by?

Answer

For all events, the preferred RSVP deadline is one month from the wedding - Thursday, September 12th, 2019. RSVPs that come after do run risk of receiving a message on lack of space.

What is "The Guest" app I need to download upon RSVP-ing?

Answer

If you are attending the wedding - "The Guest" app will automatically upload photos/videos taken while you are at the wedding. This means that you do not have to spend time sending these individually to us and others, and also that you are so kindly providing a live stream to those that could not make it! If you are not attending - you are encouraged to download "The Guest" app still and be able to see live photos/videos of what is happening at the wedding. All - Use code "KennaWinsTheEmmy" on the app to join our event! (You can adjust your upload and privacy settings on the app itself.)

Do I need to reach out if I cannot make it or to say congrats?

Answer

No need. If we invited you, we knew you are someone who is happy about our union and would make it if they could. We also understand that you're receiving this invite only two months out and may have conflicts. So although texts are appreciated, they may get a bit overwhelming with all the big transitioning (marrying, moving, and working) happening in the same week.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If the RSVP feature did not offer you a chance to add a guest, we are unable to accommodate extra guests due to the dance space’s limited capacity and the plethora of relationships God has granted us. Please reach out to us for extended circumstances.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

The ceremony has their own church parking lot available. However, the dance shares a busy parking lot with other businesses so carpooling and use of rideshares (Uber, Lyft) is strongly encouraged.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

2:45pm should be your goal :)

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Friends are encouraged to grab dinner together in between the ceremony and dance Saturday. The "Things to Do" tab has more happenings around El Paso (such as the Chalk the Block Festival happening).

Can kid(s) come?

Answer

Yes, we would never want you to be unable to come because of kids. Please take note that although the ceremony has more room, the dance will be taking place in an intimate, wine bar setting.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have two hotel group rates available under the "Travel" tab! Our ceremony is near the airport and our reception is about 20 minutes away from the airport, going towards the West side. Please note that as you RSVP, there will also be a question that asks if you would like to be added to a GroupMe to find ridemates and/or roommates.

What are your wedding colors?

Answer

There is a palette at the bottom of this website’s “Photos” tab with our wedding and home colors. Wine red is a main color, and accent colors are metallics (rose gold, silver, gold).

What's next for y'all after the wedding?

Answer

Kenna moved to D.C. in July and began working for the federal government, making us long-distance for about 3 months. After the wedding, Emmy will immediately fly with Kenna to D.C. and move into their first home together. From there, Emmy will be working full-time as an Every Nation campus missionary with the first task of building his ministry partnership team.
