Flight
Each airport is approximately a 30 to 45 minute drive from the city, depending on the time of day and traffic. You can also take the "L" train (public transit). You will take the Blue Line from O'Hare, and if you are coming from Midway you will take the Orange Line.
Train
We recommend using public transit or Uber/LYFT to get around the city. Parking can be hard to find and rather expensive. The CTA "L" trains and busses are a great and exciting way to get around. Tickets can be purchased on a per-ride / per-day / or more basis - and can be bought at any "L" train stop. Please note: Chicago rush hour can be a hassle - please give yourself time to get to the venue as the ceremony will start at 5:30pm.
Hotel
We do not have a specific hotel block booked for guests, but there are many options in Chicago for accommodations. You can also use AirBNB or VRBO for a cozy place that is nestled in some of the great neighborhoods in the Windy City. For Hotel offerings, we recommend checking out these neighborhoods: "The Loop", Gold Coast, Magnificent Mile or West Loop. For AirBNB or VRBO, check out these neighborhoods: Lincoln Park, Wicker Park/Bucktown, Gold Coast, River North, West Loop, Ukrainian Village, Noble Square or Lakeview. Please note: the venue for the Wedding on Friday night is in West Town. This is an industrial part of town that doesn't offer much in terms of accommodations or public transit. In terms of Uber/Lyft, it takes about 30 minutes to get from the Loop to West Town during rush hour traffic.
Rental Car
We secured the parking lot across the street from Salvage One. The lot is free and available to all guests on July 26, 2019 at 5:00pm
