Chicago is home to some awesome museums (like the Art Institute, Shedd Aquarium and the Science and Industry museum). You can also take a nice walk along Lake Michigan, where miles of paved paths and sandy beaches make up the Lake Shore trail. If shopping is what you'd prefer, hit the Magnificent Mile shops or the boutiques in Lincoln Park. Chicago is also known for dying its river green -- but that river also lends an incredible view of the city and its history by offering Chicago Architecture boat tours (highly recommend!). If you like heights, check out the John Hancock building or the Willis Tower (formerly Sears Tower) for some great views. If you like a bit of sports history - check out Wrigleyville where the Cubs play (but the are on the road!) or Soldier Field (home of da Bears). You might fancy some live music and dancing - jazz clubs like the Green Mill and Kingston Mines host nightly shows. You can also catch a laugh at comedy clubs "Second City" or "iO."
