Wedding Party

Meet the people who will be by our side on our wedding day!

Bryson Johnson

Officiant

Bryson Johnson is an ordained minister from Louisville, KY and the husband of Matron of Honor, Quannie Johnson. Bryson has been a big brother to Kendra and she loves to give him a hard time about his beloved Louisville Cardinals. Bryson and Quannie have been a great example of a godly marriage, and we are so blessed to have them here for our big day!

CJ Jones

Honor Attendant

CJ is Kendra's cousin-brother, and will be giving her away on our big day! With CJ being only a month older than Kendra, they grew up together and have become even closer as they've gotten older. Kendra is grateful to have CJ by her side to walk her down the aisle.

Quannie Johnson

Matron of Honor

Quannie and I met at my first big girl job in Louisville, and have been besties for almost 10 years. Our birthdays are three days apart, and we are so similar that this matchup probably shouldn't work...but it does! Quannie is the friend who sets me straight and tells me the truth in love. I'm so thankful to have her as my Matron of Honor!

Edward Davis

Best Man

Ed and I met in Minnesota back in 2007 while playing basketball. He got tired of me beating him, so he started recruiting me to play on his team. After a couple of W's and some dimes he has had my back and been my right-hand man ever since! I'm excited to have him by my side as my best man.

Tessa Plummer

Maid of Honor

Tess and I have been best friends since kindergarten--over 30 years! We met when I joined her class and have been close ever since. Tess is my confidante, travel buddy, and "life partner." I'm so excited to have her by my side on this special day!

Jekoby Jessie

Groomsman

Jekoby and I were inseparable growing up. As cousins born just one year apart, we grew up as brothers. I am excited for Jekoby to participate in one of the most important days of my life.

Kiszey Jackson

Bridesmaid

Kiszey is my big cousin--her mom, my Aunt Vivian, was my mom's sister. Kiszey and I could spend hours telling stories of our crazy adventures from childhood! She is fiercely loyal and would do anything for the people she loves. I am so grateful to be one of those people and to have her by my side on my wedding day!

Rondale Glenn

Groomsman

Big Cuz has always been a big influence in my life, showing me the ropes from a young age. During my time in Minnesota, Big Cuz would always connect when he visited and always spend quality time. I am excited to have such an influential role model participate in such a special moment in my life.

Audrey Powell

Bridesmaid

Audrey and I met during our freshman year at Asbury University. Everyone in our close friend group transferred after our first year, so it was just the two of us. We have had countless adventures together, including being roomies for a summer on Hilton Head Island. Audrey is one of the most empathetic people I know, and she's the most thoughtful gift giver. I couldn't imagine getting married without her by my side.

Kendale Young

Groomsman

A friend from way back in the day, who I am excited to have as one of my Groomsmen. Since elementary, Kendale has always been a supportive, uplifting, and vibrant friend and it is my honor to have him join me as a groomsman.

Janine Webb

Bridesmaid

Janine and I met at my first big girl job after college--a Sprint call center. We were constantly on the verge of getting fired for being late, as we rode to work together. Most of my memories from my early to mid 20s involve Janine, from nights out at Devassa to losing my phone at Two Keys. Eventually, we moved on from the call center, went to grad school and became responsible adults, and our friendship now spans nearly 15 years!

Chadz Glenn

Groomsman

As a younger brother, I have always looked up to my big brother. He has shown me many things, in life and I am glad to share this moment with him.

Emily Kendall

Bridesmaid

Emily and I met during her freshman/my sophomore year at Asbury University. We lived in the same dorm (Glide-Crawford!) and eventually the same hall (3C). Our friendship continued when we both ended up living in Louisville after graduation. Em is the kind of friend I can trust with my teeth (she's a dentist!), as well as the dinner reservations. I'm so grateful to have her as my bridesmaid!

DeRyl Glenn

Groomsman
