Maid of Honor
Julie and I bonded over our love of Harry Potter (#SlytherinPride), our love for adventures (especially to Florida), and our never ending sarcasm. I couldn't imagine marrying my best friend without my main squeeze by my side. Much love Babe!
Best Man
Maybe it’s a guy thing maybe it’s just me. But taking a gut feeling about someone and then breaking it down and forming a descriptive sentence about them. And why you picked them just comes as a difficult uncomfortable task to me, but I digress. Reece Calton the Best Man. I’ve known Reece for a little over 6 years now. While he is only a year older than me, he almost assumes an older brother role in my life. If I don’t know or can’t figure it out, ask Reece and he’s there to help even if he doesn’t know either. He’s the Jonesy to my Riley, a true Broski through and through. I can’t think of anyone better to be standing with me cracking jokes as I wait nervously for Kendra to make her entrance.
Bridesmaid
Kearsten and I were fast friend when we met. Bonding over our love of food and our interesting workplace. We like to call each other our Soul Sisters. So how could I marry my best friend without my sister!
Groomsman
Just so everyone’s clear the Sheckley’s are twins. But while they do have similarities, they are two very incredible individuals. And currently a world apart. Levi is and I believe the correct wording is a “Wild child”. In my experience if you stated you wanted to do something dangerous or far fetched, Levi would very seriously look you in the eye and say “Let’s do it”. As if the question of “if” you should do it was none existent. Every time I see an update on him, he seems to be conquering some new thing. A man that will push you to be better than you thought you could be. He’s the guy I want to give me the reassuring thumbs up as the service starts and a slap on the back once it’s all said and done.
Bridesmaid
Yasmine, Yasmine, Yasmine. The one who keeps me young, always smiling brighter, and laughing louder. Without you I wouldn't know what great pasta and also terrible pasta tastes like.
Groomsman
Now for Hunter, this guy will blow you out of the water. His tenacity in everything he does is incredible. While Levi is the one to say “let’s do it!” Hunter is the one that plans it out. He’s always great to be around. The best hype man you could ask for. He seems to find the best in everyone around him and makes them shine a little brighter. He’s the guy I want to be standing next to Levi’s reassuring thumbs up. Nodding in assurance that he double checked and I’m ready for the big moment.
Bridesmaid
From walking through my Dad's house in dripping swimsuits looking for an "intruder" to dancing off the pounds, I know Nicole will always be by my side, and thats truly what makes a great friend.
Groomsman
He is my brother which is obvious enough and I can’t tell you all how much it pains me not to make some kind of joke. But I will show restraint. Bay is a Ned Stark. An honorable man that keeps to his word. He some how pulls off a knightly character while being a college student/lake bum. The kid wanted help with LEGO’s and now he’s explaining blueprints and schematics to me. I’m proud we share the last name Hinkle. I’m proud I get to call him brother. I’m glad to have my bro there next me, to help usher in a new family member to the Hinkle name. Now while I still have space, I will say that each one of these guys is extraordinary in their own way and in a league all their own. And together, if you’ll indulge me, we in my most unhumble opinion make a League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.
