Elsa and I (Kendra) met in 2021, when I was Ms. Penke at her elementary school. Because of some mutual friends, I started babysitting for the Gallers. Over the years, it became more of a fun thing to do than "babysitting". I love talking to Elsa about books, friends, music, and choir. She is kind, funny, smart, and so empathetic. We like to play board games and laugh a lot. I'm so excited to have Elsa with me on our wedding day :)

Sarah and I (Kendra) met in the same way Elsa and I did (they are sisters after all). I love playing games with Sarah (especially Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza), talking about music and books, and reading together. Sarah is so funny and she is literally always laughing. I'm honored to have her with me on our wedding day!
Rachel Melis
Officiant
Rachel is Elsa and Sarah's mom. When Kate and I started dating, she is who I talked to about everything with our relationship. She was able to give a different perspective having been in both Kate and my shoes. She gave me step-parenting advice and advice on dating someone who was divorced. When deciding who we wanted to officiate, we couldn't find someone who felt right. When Rachel, Sarah, and Elsa called us to congratulate us on our engagement, she casually mentioned she was an officiant and it all made sense!
Ellery
Flower Girl
Ellery is the child of one of Kendra's best friends, Aurora. Even though our wedding isn't going to be "traditional", we wanted to find some way to include Ellery. Kate's daughter, Anja, suggested launching her down the aisle, which I'm sure Ellery would love, but her parents probably wouldn't. In whatever way she's involved, we are excited to have her be a part of our day.
