Getting around MT

Flathead Valley is large in area but small in population; there are no cab companies or Ubers available. We recommend coordinating with other guests you know for car rentals to maximize your access to everything Missoula, Polson, Bigfork, and the Flathead Valley have to offer. If you choose not to rent a car, we do have a shuttle that will take you from Missoula to Polson and all wedding events, but you must stay at KwaTaqNuk Resort and your access to the rest of the area may be limited.

KwaTaqNuk Resort and Casino

This is the hotel we recommend in Polson; it will be about 15 minute walk to our welcome dinner and about 30min from the ceremony at Many Springs. We have a block of rooms set aside, which will be held until JUNE 11th. For guests not renting a car, you *must* stay at the hotel in order to catch the shuttle to all wedding events and back to MSO. A note on booking: you *must* speak to someone at the Kwa Tuq Nuk front desk (406.883.3636). Ask for the Lincoln/Olsson wedding block! If you get transferred to a call center, ask again for the Kwa Tuq Nuk front desk or email frontdesk@kwataqnuk.com. If you have trouble, please let Sam or Ken know!

Shuttle

July 12, 2025 3:30 pm - 11:30 pm

There will be a shuttle available for any guests who wish not to have a car at the venue; Many Springs is off a small, windy mountain highway that is not for all drivers! The shuttle will depart from KwaTaqNuk in Polson at 3:30pm. The shuttle will make two trips from Many Springs back to the hotel after the reception. *Please let Sam & Ken know by JUNE 20th if you plan to use the shuttle.

Missoula International Airport

MSO is Ken's hometown airport; it is about 1.5h south of Flathead Lake. For guests not planning to rent a car, there will be a shuttle from Missoula to KwaTaqNuk in Polson Friday AM; it will return to Missoula Sunday AM. Please let Sam or Ken know if you plan to use the shuttle by May 1st.

MSO Airport Transportation

July 11, 2025 11:30 am - 1:00 pm

A bus will pick up any guests who need transportation to Flathead Valley from MSO. It will leave Missoula at 11:30am on Friday, July 11th and take you to KwaTaqNuk Resort in Polson. It will return to Missoula Sunday, July 13th at 10am from the same hotel. **Please let Sam or Ken know by MAY 1st, 2025 if you are planning to use this shuttle**

FCA is located about 30min north of Bigfork and 30min southwest of Glacier National Park's West Entrance.

Spokane International Airport

Spokane, WA has a larger airport with more direct (and often more cost-friendly) connections than local MT airports. It is then a 3.5h drive to Flathead Valley.
