Flight
We will be flying into Zurich airport the morning of the 1st. We will be taking the Swiss Federal Railway train from Zurich into Grindewald where our accommodations will be. Zurich is about a 3 hour scenic train ride (with stops) to Grindelwald.
Flight
Geneva is another great option for an airport to fly into from the States. Geneva is about a 5 hour scenic train ride (with stops) to Grindelwald.
Hotel
This is where we will be staying in Grindlewald. Our check-in will be August 1st, to give us time to explore the surrounding areas and sleep off the jet-lag before our wedding day. We will be checking out August 6th. The hotel we chose is in downtown Grindelwald, and a 8 minute walk to the main Grindelwald train station (there are 3 train stations: Grindelwald, Grindelwald terminal, and Grindelwald grund).
Train
The Swiss Federal Railways are how we will be exploring Switzerland. Most cities in Switzerland have a train station, making it easy to travel between different areas. We will be purchasing a 5-day Jungfrau Travel Pass- it provides unlimited access to trains, buses, boats, and mountain railways within the region.
