When we were thinking of how to plan our perfect wedding, we envisioned unforgettable beauty and our closest loved ones with us. After much research, Switzerland called to us. Grindelwald in specific is a perfect home base for us to explore the Jungfrau region. Grindlewald has the best selection for different homes and hotels; and has 3 train station options. We can't wait to permanently declare our love in a place so beautiful and feel so lucky that so many of our loved ones are able to join us!

We’ll share a list of all available hotels, inns, and chalets. You are more than welcome to stay at the hotel we booked as well- details are on the ‘travel’ page. Whenever you choose to stay, we do recommend staying close to town in order to have easy access to train stations.

do we need to be in grindlewald from the 1st-6th?
Answer
Absolutely not! Feel free to join us on whatever day/days you are able. Our wedding date will be the 5th of August. We would love for you to join us for the whole week we are there, or you are more than welcome to only come for the day/days surrounding our wedding day! where will the ceremony be?
Answer
Our ceremony will be on Männlichen Mountain, where we will have an intimate ceremony set-up. It will be a short ride up the gondola from Grindelwald to Männlichen. Our ceremony will overlook the entire Grindelwald Valley and the mountains surrounding it!

what will be the vibe of the ceremony?
Answer
We will be having a family member as an officiant lead us through a semi-formal ceremony. After the ceremony, we will be taking portraits around the surrounding areas. After portraits are done, we will be heading to our reception dinner!

will you have a wedding photographer?
Answer
Yes! We will be hiring a local photographer to capture the ceremony with our friends and family. The photographer we booked is very familiar with the area and is helping us scout and plan for potential ceremony locations.
