Stanford University
The Stanford campus is beautiful! We highly recommend walking around if you've never been to the Bay Area. We spent a lot of time on campus in the first few years of our relationship - especially in Maples Pavillion!
Oracle Park
If you're looking to go into the city, catch a Giants game at Oracle Park! Ryan and his family are big Giants fans, but the Wulbruns will always root for the Dodgers!
Stanford Shopping Center
If you're looking to do a little shopping or just want a nice place to walk around or grab a meal, there are plenty of options in the Stanford Shopping Center. If you're staying at the Sheraton, it's a quick Uber ride or walk to the outdoor mall.
Half Moon Bay
If you're interested in exploring the coast, Half Moon Bay is a beautiful beach area for an afternoon picnic or walk on the beach. For those not from California, keep in mind that Northern California beaches are not typically warm. It's usually 10-20 degrees cooler on the coast.
Stanford Dish
A great walk/hike up a paved path with beautiful (and foggy) views of the Bay. Parking can be tricky, but it's a great, convenient way to get in some activity while you're here! (Unfortunately, the Dish is closed for maintenance the week of our wedding.)
Monterey
Another great stop on the coast south of the Bay Area. There's a great aquarium where Ryan's sister volunteered throughout high school. If you need any recommendations in the area, let us know!
Terún
A great Italian place with yummy pizza near the Stanford campus! They also have a sister restaurant down the street named Italico with a very similar menu!
True Food Kitchen
One of our favorites! It's a chain, but the food is always so fresh and seasonal. This one is located in the Stanford Shopping Center.

Delicious appetizers and pizza!
Sultana Mediterranean
A favorite of Ryan's family - great Mediterranean food!
Asian Box
Like Chipotle but for Asian bowls - a yummy, quick option close to the hotel.
University Avenue
A cute street in Palo Alto with lots of great dining options! We have a few favorite ice cream places down here too (Scoop Microcreamery and Salt & Straw).
Palo Alto Sol
A great option for Mexican food conveniently located on California Avenue in Palo Alto.
Osteria Toscana
Another great Italian option in downtown Palo Alto. Walking distance from Palo Alto hotels.
