We ask that you please complete your RSVP form no later than June 30. If you know your plans before that date, please complete the form sooner so we can start to plan for those who will be joining us in August. You will complete your RSVP form on this website (under the "RSVP" tab). Please only RSVP for those in your party. You will RSVP individually and select your dinner entree on your form if you are joining us.
Yes! Everything on August 6 will take place at the Mountain Terrace in Woodside, CA. Between the ceremony and reception, we will have a cocktail hour outside as well.
We plan to provide roundtrip shuttles between the hotels and the venue. Please let us know on your RSVP form if you plan to use the shuttles to ensure we have enough seats. The road to the venue is very winding and steep. There is parking available at the venue for those who choose to drive, but we do not recommend driving if you plan to drink at the event. It can also be difficult to find Uber/Lyft rides home from the venue.
The ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner portions of the evening will all be outside. The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place on grass, so we recommend anyone wearing heels to wear wedges or block heels. The weather in California in August is typically warm, but it should cool off at night since we'll be at a higher altitude. Dancing will happen inside the venue.
Welcome Reception: semi-formal/dressy casual (dress pants and a polo, sundress, etc. - no jeans allowed at the golf course). Wedding: cocktail attire (suit and tie, sport coat, dresses, etc.) If wearing heels, we suggest a wedge or block heel because we'll be on grass part of the evening.
We respectfully ask that you do not bring a date. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. We chose to address invites to couples by name rather than offering plus ones.
We ask that only those listed on your RSVP form attend the wedding ceremony and reception. However, you are welcome to bring your kids to the welcome reception on Saturday night if you would like!
We will do our best to offer options that cater to everyone's needs. If you have any dietary restrictions, please list them on your RSVP form, and we will work with the venue to accommodate your needs.
Yes, we have special rates at both the Sheraton and the Westin in Palo Alto. You can book a room using the link on the "Travel" tab on this website. If you have any problems booking, please let us know.
You can view our registry on this website through "Registry" tab. Most gifts can be purchased directly through Zola while others may take you to another website to purchase. We ask that if you choose to purchase a gift on our registry to please use the links on our website, as it will notify other guests that an item has been purchased by someone else. Thank you in advance!
We respectfully ask that anyone feeling under the weather the day of the event celebrates with us from afar in order to protect the health and safety of those in attendance. Most events will be held outside, but anyone who feels more comfortable wearing a mask is welcome to do so! Because we're bringing together guests from across the country, we encourage guests to take precautions (such as wearing masks and testing) while traveling.
