Maid of Honor
Meg and Kendall met at Winstead Elementary as kindergartners but ran with different crowds until high school. Their true friendship began when they were freshmen at Centennial High School and Meg moved in next door to Kendall. They bonded in Mrs. Thomas's freshman geometry class and have basically been inseparable ever since. Post-college graduation they became roommates (plus Lee) and gym buddies and have continued to love experiencing young adulthood side by side.

Despite attending high school in the same county, Shauna and Kendall met for the first time at Millsaps College in 2016 as they were both headed there to play college softball. Their friendship was created over their mutual love for the Bachelor Franchise, reading books, dogs, and finding all the best food spots in Jackson, MS. The 6 hour drive back to Nashville was made so much easier with Shauna as her road trip buddy. Since then, they have taken many girls' trips together, been to several concerts, and made their dogs become besties too.
Bridesmaid
Maddie and Kendall met for the first time in Pre-K. Maddie has been Kendall's longest and most loyal friendship. Their long-lasting friendship has survived (middle school - yikes), embarrassing Halloween costumes, and long distance friendship while attending different schools. After experiencing so much of life together, it was no question that Kendall needed Maddie by her side on her big day. Now both living in Nashville, Maddie and Kendall continue to cherish their friendship into adulthood. (Kendall has Maddie to thank for her new found love of pickleball!)

Molly and Kendall first met at Page Middle School but their friendship did not blossom until freshman year at Centennial High School. Kendall and Molly couldn't be more different but quickly found out that is what made them the best of friends. Molly and Kendall are both teachers now and love swapping funny stories about their students. Kendall also loves being an auntie to Molly's son, Sonny (who is also the ring bearer!). This sporty chick is so thankful to have her musical and crafty bestie around! (Molly will also never let Kendall forget the outfit she was wearing when Molly first met her at Page Middle - pink birkenstock clogs and plaid cargo shorts, YIKES).

Kendall first met Lexi when she visited Millsaps for the first time as she was looking to transfer there for softball. That following summer, Lexi reached out to Kendall asking if she would want to be roommates. Little did Kendall know that she was texting with her soon to be best friend. Kendall and Lexi became fast friends and LOVED being roommates (being basically the same size meant two closets!!). They continue to visit each other frequently post graduation and are VERY thankful for Facetime for making their long-distance friendship so much easier.

Cameron and Kendall first met when they both went on a softball visit at Millsaps. However, they became instant friends when they both moved onto campus in the Fall of 2016. Cameron found Kendall sitting alone at a Millsaps soccer game and abandoned the group she was hanging with to sit with her. They were besties from that moment on. They bonded through tough softball practices and long bus rides and were roommates junior and senior year. Kendall attended many Trussell holidays when she couldn't make it back to Nashville. Cameron and her family made Jackson feel like home and Kendall loves to go back and visit whenever she can.

Cailin and Kendall first met sometime in elementary school but have Page Middle Softball to thank for their friendship. They spent many days carpooling to and from practices/games and this tradition continued when they played for Centennial High Softball a couple years later. Their friendship moved beyond the field where they would shop, laugh, and eat mexican food. They both moved on to be collegiate softball players and loved coming home for school breaks and going to the batting cages with Shawn. Despite living in different cities ever since high school, they have stayed close friends thanks to regular visits and Facetimes!

Simone is Kendall's youngest cousin. Simone has adored Lee since the day Kendall introduced him to the family. She played a big role in pushing Lee to propose, making sure to ask Lee every chance she had "when are you going to ask Kendall to marry you?!" There was no doubt who our Flower Girl would be. We knew we wanted Simone to be a part of our very special day and we feel lucky to have the best Flower Girl in the world!

Sonny is the son of Lee and Kendall's long time friends, Garrett and Molly Foster. With no "real" nieces or nephews of their own (yet), Sonny has truly made Lee and Kendall feel like an auntie and uncle the last year and a half.
