For Welcome drinks on Friday, dressy casual is encouraged - think nice dinner or night out in Chicago. No need for cocktail dresses or formal attire. For the wedding on Saturday, our dress code is formal. This means suits for men, long/midi dresses or pantsuits for women. Please no white as that is reserved for the bride. If you have any questions, feel free to ask! Ultimately, we want you to be comfortable and have fun.
While we love your little ones, we are having an adult only wedding with the exception of a few close family children. Please refer to the names listed on your invitation for guests invited. We hope you understand and enjoy the night off!
We have a limited number of guests we can have in the venue so only guests that are named on the invitation may attend.
Our venue has garage parking available nearby, although we recommend walking to the venue from the hotel. If you decide to stay in a further accommodation or want to explore different areas of the city during the day, we recommend using Uber, Lyft, or a taxi. If you decide to use public transportation, the trains and buses accept credit card payments (just tap your credit card on the scanner at the entrance.)
The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all be held on-site at the Rookery. Everything will be held indoors.
