Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There are two parking decks at American Tobacco, the North and South. Both will be open to the public. There is a small fee to park before 7pm.

Is a rental car necessary if flying into town?

Answer

Other than getting an Uber or Lyft ride to and from the airport, the venue, hotel suggestions and things to do in downtown are all within 1-1.5miles walking distance.

What hotels do you recommend?

Answer

We have room blocks available at Aloft, 21c Hotel, The Durham Hotel and Marriott City Center. Unscripted is also very close. AirBnB has a lot of options in and around downtown Durham as well.

Is there transport to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There is no scheduled transportation to and from the hotel from the ceremony/reception venue since it is a short walk from all suggested hotels.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

All guests are invited to join us for brunch Saturday morning and enjoy a beer garden in the afternoon.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 5 so feel free to arrive early and explore the American Tobacco Campus.

If I’m driving from Wisconsin where else should I stop?

Answer

ASHEVILLE!! If you’re from Wisconsin you probably love the outdoors and beer and that’s what Asheville is all about. Our favorite hikes have been Frying Pan Tower, Skinny Dip Falls and Mount Pisgah. We also recommend Asheville Brewing Company, Green Man Brewing, Catawba Brewing...oh and Vortex Doughnuts.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is public parking available for the American Tobacco campus in the North and South parking decks. Since it is public, a few may apply but mention the wedding at Bay 7 to the attendant in case.

Answer

Please let us know by October 6th if you will be able to attend the ceremony and reception.
