August 30, 2024
Please arrive 30 minutes prior to the ceremony start time.
No. This will be an unplugged ceremony. Make sure your phone is off or on silent during the ceremony. We hired an amazing photographer and this is their rule. We’d hate to lose out on a special moment with a phone disrupting it or in the photographer’s shot. Anyone who does not follow this rule will be publicly ridiculed.
The RSVP section will allow you to send us your dietary restrictions/allergies, so let us know ASAP. Anything told to us within 7 weeks of the wedding may not be honored since we have to turn in meals to the hotel by then.
Cocktail, formal or semi-formal. Absolutely no jeans, sweats, polo shirts, or completely white dresses.
Your invitation will list the names of all invited. When you search for your RSVP on this site, it will list anyone else associated with your party. If you feel like you need a “Plus 1”, contact Colton or Kendall immediately. The venue has a limited capacity and we’re reserving our day for immediate family and several friends.
Contact the White Swan Stratford Upon Avon and let them know you’re with the Connell-Fulcher wedding on October 19, 2024. E-mail: whiteswanhotel.stratford-receptionmanager@fullers.co.uk Phone: 01789 297022 We have some rooms on standby for those arriving as early as Thursday the 17th. Breakfast is included in your room rate. When you reach out, make sure you indicate how many beds you need. Some can add a rollaway or have a sofa bed to accommodate additional people in the room.
Complimentary welcome drinks, cocktail hour and bottles of wine during dinner will be provided. Teas, sodas and coffee will also be served. A cash bar will begin at dinner.
There are 2 close paid parking lots (aka car park) located within a block of the hotel (Windsor Street Surface Car Park and Windsor Street Multi). Both are off Windsor Street. There are about 4 more lots within a block or 2. Try to go to their websites online and pay in advance to get a discount.
We get that this destination wedding comes with its challenges. If plans change, let us know ASAP. We need to give our venue final numbers and pay for everything 8 weeks before our date. We will miss your presence!
Obviously attending a destination wedding is expensive and we are not expecting gifts. However, if you’d like to get us something, please see our “registry” link located on this website. Any physical gift must be shipped to our home since we will not have space in our luggage to bring it back.
Please see the Know Before You Go and Things To Do pages. We know attending a destination wedding can be stressful. We’ve included as much information you’ll need to help book your trip. We will also connect you to a Facebook group that will have all attendees to share information and ideas and see who would like to split rooms, transportation, etc
Yes! 75% of things to do are within 1 mile walking distance of the White Swan (shops, museums, pubs, restaurants, cafes, theatre, river walk). There are several nearby historical sites you can get to by bus, train or car.
