Maid of Honor
Rachael has known Annaliese for Annaliese’s entire life. Annaliese has a gentleness and lightness about her, which Rachael will need on wedding day. She also agreed to make a fun speech (and she is Rachael’s sister), so she is an easy choice for Rachael’s maid of honor.
Amy
Bridesmaid
Rachael has known Amy since high school when they met through a mutual friend. Amy has great advice and is willing to listen, which Rachael is looking forward to on wedding day. Amy has also tolerated Rachael for almost 15 years so she was an easy choice for bridesmaid.
Mary
Bridesmaid
Rachael got to know Mary in high school, becoming closer with her in college. Mary is genuine and grounded, which Rachael feels will be very needed on the wedding day. Mary has also put up with Rachael’s decisions for years, making her an easy choice for bridesmaid.
Taytum
Bridesmaid
Taytum is Ken’s cousin, but more importantly, she likes Rachael better than Ken. Taytum has a sense of humor and a caring nature, which makes her easy to be around. Despite her busy school schedule, she graciously accepted the invitation - Also, she thinks Rachael is funny, which made Taytum an easy decision for bridesmaid.
Melanie
Honor Attendant
Melanie is the significant other of Ken’s cousin. She keeps Ken’s cousin grounded (and Ken, too), so Rachael figured Melanie would be a welcome addition as a personal attendant. Melanie accepted the invitation graciously, despite her busy grad school schedule, and has an ease about her that helps anyone feel calm.
Aaron
Best Man
A gentleman, a scholar, an aristocrat - these are all words Aaron would use to describe Ken. Aaron is Ken's one and only brother. Aaron's most admirable quality is that he has always looked up to his older brother. His second most admirable quality is that he has ensured that Ken will never truly "grow up", and that their lives will continue to be whimsical and generally goofy. The obvious choice for Best Man. He is that guy.
Barlow (Ethan?)
Groomsman
Allegedly he has a first name, but nobody cares. Barlow and Kenny met playing football together in Highschool. Barlow laughs at virtually everything Kenny says, so naturally they become best friends over his exceptional taste in humor. Barlow's fashion choices and his love of Cher, Celine Dion and Lady GaGa, has always raised questions over the years. Now that he is engaged to be married later this summer, we can confidently say that we're still not quite sure.
Mitch (Carl)
Groomsman
Mitch has known Kenny since middle school and Kenny has found him tolerable since probably sometime in highschool where they played football together. Once Kenny decided he wanted to access Mitch's phone (for benevolent reasons). Mitch's phone was unlocked on the first try by entering the password "m-i-t-c-h". One week later, Ken attempted to access the phone again, but found that the password had changed. On his second attempt he entered "h-i" and was granted access. Ken remains friends with Mitch to this day knowing he could probably guess the password to all of his bank accounts if the need arises.
Nucc (Nicholas)
Groomsman
As his cousin, Nucc has known Ken for his entire life. A privilege shared by regrettably few people. Nucc (the man formerly known as "Nick") received his nickname one faithful day when his cousins found "Nucc" was both amusing to pronounce and befitting of his character. Nucc proclaimed that the nickname would never stick. Nucc was wrong. We love Nucc.
