This will be a small - medium sized wedding with so much outdoor space to enjoy. We have done our best to be very intentional about sharing this space and day with safe, inclusive, and loving people. Our venue does have a smaller capacity limit, so if you have any hesitations, feel free to reach out to us with questions!
Love to see it! While the wedding is not dog-friendly, there are plenty of dog-friendly lodging options around BV! We hope you keep in mind that their little lungs may not be cut out for an altitude higher than 8,000 feet if that isn't something they are consistently acclimated to. BV sits at 7,965 feet and Salida sits at 7,083 feet. Food for thought!
Most likely not if you DRINK WATER!!!! This will be your savior. Beyond going above 10,000' by choice, and feeling a mild head buzz, we did not experience any sort of motion / altitude sickness. You cannot drink enough water when you're acclimating. We promise.
It's generally a lot cooler in the mornings & evenings and warmer during the day. It can range anywhere from 30-75 degrees with potential for snow, a lot of wind, or the perfect amount of sunshine & calm. Pretend its April in MN and pack accordingly ;)
