Chicago Premium Outlets
For anyone with extra time wanting to do some shopping, Chicago Premium Outlets is a HUGE outlet mall less than 5 miles from the venue. Accessible by driving or uber!
Two Brothers Roundhouse
Much more than just the venue of our wedding and reception, the Roundhouse is a full service brew pub and restaurant, and frequently has live music. There is also a delicious coffeeshop inside. The Roundhouse was build in 1856, and originally served as a train station. Just steps away from the Holiday Inn Express, but also has parking available for those staying elsewhere.
Phillips Park Zoo
Phillips Park is a cute, park- district zoo that offers free admission. The park also features a sunken garden and a really fun playground. Located about 10 minutes from venue/ hotel.
Ballydoyle
Looking for lunch before the wedding? Ballydoyle Irish Pub is very near the venue, also located in downtown Aurora, and has free parking. There is outdoor seating available, and the buffalo chicken wings are delicious!
Chicago
The bride and groom LOVE Chicago, where they have both lived the past five years, and would be happy to give recommendations if anyone is interested in a long weekend. Again, we do highly recommend staying in Aurora instead of Chicago on Saturday night if you are coming from out of town, as it is at least an hour drive between Aurora and Chicago.
