Kenny and Jordan met in 2015, when they ended up on the same rec league kickball team in Lincoln Park, Chicago. Neither of them contributed much to the team's success on the field, but they always contributed to finishing drinks and appetizers post game at Benchmark. The pair went on their first date around Halloween. It didn't take long for them realize that everything was more fun with the other person around. As a couple, some of their favorite memories of dating include celebrating holidays with friends and family, summer camping / float trips, several weekend getaways, especially a fun trip to Nashville, a winter escape to Punta Cana, and a visit to New York City, lazy Sundays relaxing and watching football (although they'll never agree which team to root for), moving into their first apartment together, and snuggling at home with their pets, Zelda and Zeus. Kenny pulled off a great surprise on the day he asked Jordan to marry him, March 23, 2018. Kenny asked Jordan if she wanted to go to a nearby restaurant for dinner, and as they were walking, he slowed and stopped when they reached the sidewalk in front of the apartment they'd soon be moving into. It was incredibly special to share such a big moment together, just the two of them. Kenny then lead Jordan to a nearby bar, Harrigan's, where she was shocked to find her family and all of the couple's close friends waiting to celebrate with them. Jordan was shocked to find out that everyone had been able to keep this secret from her, especially since Kenny had enlisted the help of some of Jordan's closest friends to decorate and bake a beautiful cake. The night was filled with lots of excitement, champagne, and karaoke. Kenny and Jordan could not be more excited to make it official, and are thrilled to be celebrating the big day with such wonderful friends and family this June.
