FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

May 15th, 2025 at the latest please.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We want a sense of occasion but we also want everyone to be comfortable and yet celebratory. Let's call it "Maine Rustic Barn Party Attire". What does that mean!? Sundresses, maxi dresses, casual cocktail dresses, fun jumpsuits etc. Suits in lighter hues, linen suits, sports coats with ties (Ken, as you know, LOVES his ties). Patterns and colors encouraged. Have fun with accessories Bring layers for the cooler evenings in Maine. ***Footwear: A lot of the event is happening on grass, trails and uneven ground so flats are your friend! If you want to wear heels think chunky, wedges or boot styles.

Question

What is the color palette?

Answer

Dusty Blue, Summer Yellow and Sage Green

Question

What is the weather like?

Answer

Maine in June is still Spring in Midwestern minds. The average mid-day highs are low-mid 70s with evening lows dipping into the mid-50s. In the sun 70 feels perfect...we have experienced it! The wedding will be 5 days before the summer solstice so the sun won't go away until about 8:30, BUT we strongly suggest layers for the evening hours.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

See Accommodations/Travel tab on the website.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Kids are welcome. We want everyone to have a blast so just keep 'em under control. There will be lawn games for everyone to play with throughout the day. If you know your little ones have particular favorite games, books, or other forms of entertainment that will help keep them (and you) enjoying the party, feel free to bring it. Within reason. Please, no emotional support tigers. There are babysitting/nanny services available. If want numbers/references for these services just let us know.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

We will be having a Welcome Party event the evening of Friday June 13th at Sebasco Harbor Resort from 6:30pm-11pm. See schedule page for more details and to RSVP.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

2:30 on-site (have a glass of champagne before the ceremony and enjoy the view) for a 3pm go time!

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

The Bath Trolley will be available for guests from the Hampton Inn in Bath, ME and Sebasco Harbor Resort in Phippsburg, ME before and after the event. Parking is limited at the 1774 Inn PLUS we want people to enjoy the open bar so take advantage of the trolley service. Note: There are no Uber/Lyft services in this area of Maine. So please plan accordingly.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes. Please see the registry tab on this website. Everything from Household Essentials to Date Nights and a Honeymoon Fund.
