Robbie’s is a must-visit and one of the most iconic stops in the Florida Keys. Here, you can use one hand to sip their world famous "Trailer Trash Bloody Mary" and the other to feed the legendary tarpon — AKA the “Silver King.” They are covered in mirror-like scales and use the power of their 300+ lbs bodies to leap entirely out of water giving them their royal, majestic reputation... and making them Colby's favorite fish to fight. Locals tip: keep your ballyhoo bucket away from the pelicans!
Key Lime Pie Factory is a slice of Florida Keys flavor you won’t want to miss. Their world famous and locals favorite Key Lime Pie is made fresh, creamy, and tangy with a perfectly sweet graham crust. Whether you are passing on your way down, up, or both (you won't regret it) grab a slice or a whole pie to take with you. Just save Colby and Ashley a bite!
Islamorada Brewery & Distillery creates island‑inspired beers, handcrafted spirits, and tasty cocktails you can enjoy on‑site or take to go. Green Turtle Inn may have opened in 1947, but there is nothing about this place that gets old. The menu is composed of everything from modern Keys classics to Southern staples. If you are looking for the best sit-down breakfast, Colby and Guy Fieri would say look no further- once featured on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives.
Cafe Moka is just a short stroll across the street from Islander Resort. It is a charming little café tucked among local boutiques — where you will most definitely find Ashley as soon as they open at 8 A.M. They serve expertly brewed coffee, fresh pastries, and tasty breakfast bites making it a "quick and easy" stop before exploring all the other local beauties Islamorada has to offer.
Gardenia's Bistro is a mother-daughter owned hidden gem. They only serve clean, non-toxic, organic, seed oil free, and locally sourced (when possible) ingredients from the walk-up window. From specialty coffees, smoothies, breakfast bites, you won't be disappointed. While you wait to be served, you can roam the property with the roosters and see the fresh produce, native blooms, and bunny exhibit. You may even see Ashley grabbing her second (or third...) cup of coffee.
Alligator Reef Lighthouse is a historic 136-foot steel lighthouse 4 miles offshore East of Islamorada. It is accessible only by boat or jet ski, with many local charters offering excursions to the site to snorkel and even climb and jump off of. Despite its name, there are no alligators here—just vibrant coral, tropical fish, and sea life.
Bass Pro Shops World Wide Sportsman is more than a store — it’s a little adventure all on its own. You can explore fishing gear, boating supplies, and outdoor essentials while exploring the live fish tanks and wildlife displays inside. You may even find Colby in the checkout line! Feeling hungry? The Islamorada Fish Company next door has bayside bites, cocktails, and frequent manatee sightings.

If you plan on joining us for the Welcome party, this is a great spot to grab dinner before stepping over.
Toilet Seat Cut is an offshore man-made boat channel and landmark lined with over 250 decorated toilet seats. After Hurricane Donna in 1960, household debris, including a toilet seat, washed up and was found hanging from a post marking the channel. Other locals found the sight pretty funny and began decorating the remaining posts with toilet seats, establishing a unique Florida Keys tradition.
Ziggie & Mad Dog's is easily our favorite date night. You’ve never had a steak until you’ve had a filet grilled to perfection here. Not to mention- their delectable wine and the hardest sides to chose from- loaded baked potato, creamed spinach, truffle mac & cheese and potatoes au gratin. And, it always brings a special memory of Colby's beloved family dog, Ziggy!
The Armory Speakeasy is tucked behind a 20-foot tunnel and guarded post. It is a military-themed speakeasy paying homage to service, sacrifice, and celebration. Here, the drinks are tactical, the food is commanding, and the ambiance is nothing short of elite. Don't skip out on ordering the "Key Lime Pie Martini." This is not just a bar. It’s a mission.
