Meet our family and friends who are walking down the aisle with us!

Mia Wright

Maid of Honor

Oh my gawsh! Meeting Kemi was one of the most surreal moments of my life. I met her on my first day of college, no friends and no clue that she would be on of my best friends…and sister. As she and Mariah were walking towards the Collosseum at UWG for orientation, my sister yelled out of the window asking if I could walk with them. Although we didn’t bond that first day, God brought us right back together the following day. We found out we had the same major and lived in the same dorm. I could go on forever, but it was the start of a friendship that I know will last a lifetime.

Hannah Wortham

Bridesmaid

Kemi and I met our freshman year of high school. We were always cool and there were always laughs and giggles amongst us but our sisterly bond blossomed after we graduated high school, and it continues to blossom to this day. She is the Sweetest of our friend group “The Peaches” and I am so grateful to be apart of her special day.

Mariah Holt

Bridesmaid

It's funny that I truly do not remember meeting Kemi. I guess us both being involved in the healthcare pathway program during high school helped us cross paths. What I do remember is Kemi having the spicy bowl noodles everyday in Mrs. McGhee's (our healthcare pathway teacher) class and how I asked Kemi everyday for her noodles. Sometimes she said no because she was hungry, but most times she said yes.

Regina Martin

Bridesmaid

I met Kemi in high school in a healthcare class. We didn’t become good friends until around our senior year. I have watched her grow and I am thankful for our experiences over the years and wish Kemi the best in her marriage for many years to come!

Khalifah Yusuf-Momoh

Bridesmaid

I met my dear beautiful friend and sister within our African Student association at our university. She was my favorite person because she was very quiet and I was the complete opposite. I was the loud one who was always about enjoyment and partying. And she’s the one that kept me calm when necessary. She was my lifesaver every time I need someone to talk to and literally saved my life at some point during our college experience, when she actually lived on campus before she left me to become a beautiful nurse. We were so close that at one point we called ourselves A.S.D which I’m going to leave it at your imagination. I’m honestly so excited for the wedding. May God continue to bless your union and plenty more happiness to come.

Vida Sallah

Bridesmaid

My name is Vida and I’m one of Kemi’s bridesmaids! I met Kemi in 9th grade when we both went to the HOOCH together lol . I can’t even remember the exact moment me and Kemi became close friends but I feel like she has been my sister for a long time. She has always been so supportive, funny and filled with positive energy. When I met Akin he instantly became my big brother. I feel honored to be apart of her & Akin’s special day and I can’t wait to celebrate with them . Kemi and Akin, I wish you guys the best. May God continue to bless yall union . I love you both dearly ❤️

Nikisha Richardson

Bridesmaid

Kemi & I met in high school and I remember her always laughing and being her silly self. We bonded instantly and have been super close ever since. She’s been annoying me since I can remember lol. To know her is to love her and I absolutely love her to pieces. She’s the person who’s going to calm you down so you don’t make irrational decisions, and she’s also the one who’s going to encourage you to take another shot. I’m so happy to be apart of such a monumental moment in her life and I couldn’t imagine her not having me in her wedding because that right there would make me cry all night lol #MyBrideIsTheBest

Dammy Osota

Bridesmaid

As Akin’s sister, I’d like l to say I met Kemi over a period of occasions. Every time I've been around her, she is always warming and inviting and brings a light into the room. I can’t wait to call her my sister.

Olamide Osota

Bridesmaid

Hey! My name is Olamide and Kemi is going to be my sister in law! I met Kemi I think two years ago when my brother brought her over, I was wondering who she was because I’ve never seen her before. We had went out and got some wings and she was telling me about herself while I told her some things about myself. She was cool and nice. In my head I was thinking this has to be his girlfriend. When I asked my brother who she was he said yea and I told him she was pretty and seem cool so far. As of now I’ve gotten a closer bond with her and hope we continue to make it closer.

Jessica Ramirez

Bridesmaid

Even though I don’t recall when we officially met. I feel like ever since that day when we all stayed at the Airbnb we had a blast. Regardless of what the outcome was that weekend. We danced so much and bonded like I’ve never done before with a small group of people. I feel like ever since you came into our lives it has added not only one new lifetime friend, your joyful spirit has brought a whole different light into this friendship. I always have fun with you and always look forward to seeing you glow like the shining star that you are. I look forward to sharing the ups and downs in the near future in this rollercoaster of life… it’s no fun without the people you care about by your side.

Abayomi Osota

Best Man

I am akin's brother so I have known him since he was a kid. I have known him through the good and bad, but throughout all that he has done well for himself. I am proud of the person he has become, and I pray for more blessings.

Groomsman

met Akin in church with the rest of his family, they were new to Georgia and they seemed to be very quiet. At the time I was new to the church as well so we became really cool and close along with Yomi. Akin is very funny even if it doesn't seem like he's a goofy, he really is. There's so many scenarios we been in that has been too funny to even explain. The relationship with him even helped me to get more intertwined with my Nigerian roots and I'll always appreciate that. That's my dawg fashozay!

Azar Wilson

Groomsman

Me and Akin went to the same high school (McEachern), and throughout our time there we had multiple classes together and we were teammates on the football team. So I spent a lot of time with him in that aspect which allowed us to grow closer to each other over time.

Braylon Hansbrough

Groomsman

Akin Osota is considered a role model to me. I met him through my father when he became my weightlifting coach approximately 1.5 years ago. Our weightlifting sessions were fun and uplifting. As months furiously passed, our bond grew stronger and stronger. Now I consider him not only a role model but my friend and encourager. Thank you Akin for the dedication and time you have instilled in me. Love, Braylon

Femi Ajayi

Groomsman

I met Akin through the church we attend. And as time passed, we somehow became closer and closer. He has made a great impact in my life and I just love his energy. I now look up to him as the older brother I’ve always wanted. Congrats bro!

Samson Oso

Groomsman

Akin and I Grew up in the same church and have always known each other. Funny enough we were not all that cool because of our age difference but as time passed I found him to be like another older brother of Mine. We have a hilarious relationship where we are always making fun of each other for something ridiculous or we are having one of those deep conversations about Life, relationships etc. I pray for the best for my brother and Kemi in their marriage.

Zavon Moore

Groomsman

I had the opportunity to meet Akin in college at Missouri Valley College, where we played football together.

Michael Davis(Big Mike)

Aki and I met at Missouri Valley College. I’m glad things worked out the way they did, because I consider him a part of my family. No matter how long it’s been since we’ve seen each other we always pick up where we left off like it was yesterday.

Shelton Chism

Groomsman

Man I met Akin back in college, about 5/6 years ago. I remember meeting bro for the first time I shook hands with Akin this dude almost ripped my arm out of my socket! I was like bro about to be a beast in the o line! Akin has strong cultural beliefs and is very strong willed that was the reason he clicked not only with me but the whole o line we all where like brothas my moms even treated Akin like family when he came and stayed during school holidays! We partied hard but also got our work done!

Camrin Carty

Groomsman

Aki and I are friends through Celestial Church of Christ North Atlanta Parish when we were kids practically built our friendship from then on.

Moses Abdulai

Groomsman

I met Akin through my lovely sister in 2019. When I first saw him, I was like “Woah sis when did you hire a bodyguard” and she laughed and said “haha, that’s my man right there” and I was like “man azin your man man(ọkọ). Then he introduced himself. I can remember vividly, he said “HI, I’m Akinola and I’m your sister mhmm mhmm” we shook hands and exchanged pleasantries and became gees from there. Ever since then, she has always talked highly about you, I can see how much she is in love. I appreciate all that you did and all that you are doing to make her happy.

Michael Oso

Groomsman

Where do I start, he just a f.o.b (fresh off the boat) when we met at church. We weren’t as close then, but always had mutual respect for one another. But it’s when he came back from college is when we really became Really good friends. From football games to cookouts (aka chef akin) just about any sport event. We really clicked found out I had friendship that went beyond friends he became a brother very thankful for his growth as individual and happy to see him turn in his bachelor card!
