Every girl always imagined where they’ll meet their spouse. Call me old fashioned, but I’ve always dreamt of meeting my future husband at church. On August 19, 2018, those dreams came true. The church that I was attending was having their annual harvest. As a member of that church, my role was an onibode which means sideperson/usher in English. So you know on harvest, everyone has their best sutana on, makeup on fleek, jewelry shining and of course your girl was looking good you feel me ☺️. But it was one thing stopping my show, which were my lashes 😂. I was struggling to put them on, omg it was a mess. Luckily my friend Mari was there and she was going to help me with it. So Mari and I are went into the office and while she was assisting me with the lashes. Three gentlemen walked into the room. I recognized one of the gentleman who was Femi (JR) because we went to college together. We all exchanged greetings and departed to enter the church for service. During the service, I saw Yomi and Femi sitting outside and we started talking. While we were talking, He told me about Akin and asked me what did I think of him. Mind you Akin and I haven’t spoke yet, just a hello 😂. I peeped Akin looking over his shoulders. He thinks I didn’t see him but I gave him a cute little smile. Towards the middle of the service, I saw all three of them in the hallway talking. So I walked up to see if they’ve gotten food because they were about to leave. While I was talking to Femi, Akin politely interrupted our conversation by introducing himself. In my head I’m like “oooh we like a man that takes charge” ☺️. But of course I didn’t say it out loud lol. So Akin introduced himself and told me I was beautiful, and trust me I was blushing like a happy bunny. He gave me his fitness card and told me to text him when I get the chance. I replied back “Awww thank you, I will”. After our conversation, all three of them left and I ended up texting him after church was over and here we are now!! 💖

So it all started like this. You listening. On a hot sunny sunday, I was about to head home from church. One of my church members reminded me that there was a harvest going in Sylvan road. When he told me, I instantly told him “No” because I had work 2 hours later. The more I kept telling him “No” I felt like the Angel of the lord just telling me “Akin take your ass to that church”. When we arrived at the gates of that church, I instantly saw one of my uncles that I love dearly. We spoke for a good 10 mins catching up. He later took me to say hello to his wife. The minute we walked into the room where his wife was located, I saw the most “Beautiful, Gorgeous and finiest” individual I’ve ever seen. When I saw her, in my head I was like “GAHHHHH DAAAMMMNNNNN I gotta have her”. I didnt say shit to her while i was in that room, i just kept on looking at her and just imagining her and myself. After 2mins of doing that, i asked my friend JR “Who is she?”. He told me who she was and I told him “I gotta have her”. We went into the church and I just kept on looking back at her because I had a feeling she was looking at my sexy ass back and shoulders. About 30 mins later as i was about to leave for work, I was looking for Kemi so that i can collect her number. As i was looking, i saw her talking to my friend JR. I slightly slide right between them and told her “Hi I’m Akin, whats your name?” She replied “Kemi”. I responded “You are so BEAUTIFUL, here is my buisness card TEXT ME”. As i was leaving, i was walking out of the church like the MAN. Driving home and at work, she was all I could think about. 6HRS Later she texted me “Hey AKIN, Its KEMI”. Only the Lord could have known my emotions on the inside on that day. Now all i can think about is Marrying the WOMAN Of My Dream❤️
