Wedding PartyWedding Party

The Wedding Website of Kelsy Sherman and Shane Montgomery
While we wish everyone we care about could join us, we are joined by those nearest and dearest to us so might be helpful if you all know each other! Over our time trapped on an island together we will all get to know each other better, but for now might as well get started and see what you may catch everyone doing on the trip when you’re not busy supporting the bride and groom for the big day!

ShaneShane

Groom

If you’re looking for him in Kauai, check the nearest cliff, trail, or reef—he’s probably climbing it, hiking it, or snorkeling around it. He’s the guy who’s either already done whatever wild adventure you’re dreaming up, or is lacing up his shoes to do it with you. And while the bride is always right there by his side, he’s usually the one running joyful circles around her as she tries to keep up (lovingly, of course).

KelsyKelsy

Bride

Always on the lookout for the next big adventure, she’s the reason she and the groom once found themselves kayaking 17 miles across Kauai on their last trip (seemed like a good idea at the time). This time around, she’ll be balancing wedding-day magic with planning the next hike, snorkel, or “totally casual” excursion that somehow turns into an epic trek. And when she’s not exploring or saying “I do,” you can bet she’s sneaking peeks at the Furbo camera to catch her pups holding down the fort at home.

JacksonJackson

Nephew of the Groom

Almost five years old and freshly promoted to “Big Brother of Two,” he’s arriving in Kauai with one mission: play until the sun goes down (and then maybe a little longer). From conquering waterslides to chasing waves to floating the lazy river like a king on his throne, he’ll be everywhere at once—until his eyelids finally give in. But don’t be fooled—he’ll still swear he’s not tired and has at least ten more hours of fun left in him.

LindseyLindsey

Sister of the Groom

You’ll likely find her soaking up the sunshine, building sandcastles, and making sure three little swimmers don’t float off to sea. But the second the grandparents swoop in for kid duty, she’s all in for adventure—whether that’s a hike, a boat ride, or whatever the bride and groom dream up next. Always willing and ready to have all the fun, she’s proof you can balance beach toys and big adventures in the very same day.

PatrickPatrick

Father of the Groom

Every great adventure needs a hero, and this one comes armed with the world’s best silly voices and a collection of funny faces guaranteed to save the day. Whether it’s coaxing a giggle from the little ones or keeping spirits high after a long hike, Grandpa’s the secret weapon of the trip. Dad to the groom and master of comic relief, guaranteed to keep kids (and adults) laughing. When he’s not saving the day with a joke, he’s beaming with pride at the incredible son he raised—and the family he built that now joyfully includes the bride.

MichelleMichelle

Mother of the Groom

While Grandpa packs the jokes, Grandma’s carrying literally everything else. Sunscreen? Snacks? Ibuprofen? An extra pair of flip-flops you didn’t know you needed? She’s got you covered. Basically, if you forgot it, check her bag—she’s the island’s unofficial supply station. She’s got it all, and then some. But more importantly, she’s the one who helped shape such a wonderful human in the groom, and welcomed the bride as if she’d always been part of the family.

SteveSteve

Brother in-law

Dad to the three little ones, he’ll be easy to spot on the beach—either building sandcastles with his wife or hunting down the coolest toy in the shop. But the second the grandparents take over kid duty, all bets are off. One minute he’s off on an island adventure, the next he might casually sign up for a triathlon or end up swimming with dolphins. With him, you just never know—but it’s guaranteed to be epic.

KellyKelly

Grandma of the Bride

She’s been waiting for this day as long as she can remember, and now that it’s here, she’s making the most of every moment. You’ll probably spot her getting her steps in—whether it’s laps along the beach or circuits around the hotel grounds. And when she’s not walking, she’s keeping an eye on the bride’s little brother to make sure he isn’t being too wild…or, depending on the day, teaming up with him to be part of the fun.

BillBill

Grandpa of the Bride

While Grandma racks up her steps, you’ll probably find him happily cheering her on from a comfy pool lounger, scouting out the best snacks, and soaking in the sunshine. Content, joyful, and so proud to be here, he’s living his best life in paradise—one snack break at a time.

AndreaAndrea

Mother of the Bride

There’s a good chance she’ll be crying just as much (if not more) than the bride—but every tear is packed with pride and love. Through all the emotions, she may need a gentle reminder to soak in the beauty of Hawaii and sneak away for some fun. And when she does, you’ll likely find her at Poipu Beach, happily hanging out with the sea turtles and remembering this is paradise after all.

CristianCristian

Brother of the bride

The family’s resident mediator, he’s the one who can settle any debate—whether it’s where to eat, what adventure to tackle next, or which beach has the best waves. Armed with logic and an endless supply of fun facts, he’ll gently guide you right to a decision (and make sure you learn something fascinating along the way). Basically, if you leave Kauai without a head full of trivia, you just didn’t spend enough time with him.

NoahNoah

Brother of the bride

The unofficial life of the party, he may be new to Hawaii, but somehow he’ll have a sixth sense for tracking down the island’s coolest hangouts. Joined by his loving girlfriend Ari—who’s blended into the family as if she’s always been there—these two are a dynamic duo. Need a cold drink when you’re parched, a souvenir that’s actually worth buying, or just a guaranteed good time? They’ve got you covered.

ElisseElisse

Friend of the bride

What started as a coworker friendship quickly turned into the bride’s closest confidante—Elisse is part therapist, part game-night champion, part arts-and-crafts partner-in-crime. She’s also the loudest cheerleader in any room, guaranteed. Alongside her fiancé David, the ultimate review-readers and master planners, this duo always has a perfectly organized plan (and probably a backup plan too). If you’re wondering who’s discovered the coolest spot on the island, chances are it’s them—and they’ll happily share.

Anna (Dr. MK)Anna (Dr. MK)

Friend of the Bride

Another coworker-turned-closest-friend, Anna is a walking treasure trove of love and knowledge—seriously, she’ll blow your mind with what she knows. She’s joined by her husband, Art, and their kids, Lusi (14) and Michael (11), making this crew a full-on family adventure squad. Anna is the queen of making sure everyone else is having the best time—though with a gentle nudge, she’ll remember to soak up paradise for herself, too.

NathanielNathaniel

Friend of the Groom

Nathaniel and Shane have been great friends and co-workers for the past 10 years. He is married to his wife Sana and has two kids Yara (4) and Mahdi (2).
