3-4131 Kuhio Highway, Lihue, HI 96766

Like a lazy river.. but through the forest! We did this on our first trip out to Kauai. Didn’t do it again because it was a little too slow for our speed. Might be something you like if you want to take it slow but see some cool sights and go through some tunnels carved from the sugarcane industry! Will be wearing a hard hat with a headlamp. It’s a little cold

By far one of our favorite experiences, if you were ever going to consider splurging for a helicopter ride… Kauai is the place to do it! There are a lot of companies but we loved our experience with Jack Harter, their safety ratings and that they had the doors off option for the ride

Lydgate Beach Park

Leho Drive, Lihue, HI 96766

Known for one of the best playgrounds and the calmest water this beach is great for the little ones and super clear for anyone wanting to snorkel!

Very close to our hotel is a hot spot for sea turtles to beach and hang out in the sun. We love visiting them and watching them scootch around! Also a good place to snorkel

There’s so much to do and see in Waimea, tons of hiking options. We really enjoyed canyon trail to waipo’o falls. Theres also multiple drive up viewpoints to look at the canyon with no hiking necessary!

One of the hardest hikes we’ve done. Gorgeous hike through one of the most biodiverse parts of the world right on the Na’pali coast. You need a permit if you want to go.

We’ve tried a few different companies, this is the best. The zodiac boat tour zips your through sea caves, gets you close to dolphins and is a ride in itself. We wouldn’t go to Kauai and NOT do this!

This is where Shane proposed! It’s absolutely gorgeous and the area has really nice shops and restaurants

A hike from the beach through a river to some lava rock that has lots of wildlife! Very cool, a bit slippery. The river here was gorgeous and slow moving. Pretty place to check out and relax without a hike as well
