Invites were finally sent out July 18! :) If you have not received yours by the July 25, please contact Kelsy or Johnathan.
We are so excited to have you join us for our wedding!!! Invitations were FINALLY put into the mail July 18. Inside there will be a RSVP card for each person invited. Please mark whether you accept or decline the wedding invite at the top. Then at the bottom please mark if you will be attending the breakfast Sunday, September 14 (the morning after) at the Delta hotel. Please place all RSVP cards you received into the single RSVP envelop you received that has already been pre-stamped and pre-addressed and send it back to us. Thank you so much!!!
Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list to stay on budget and to stay within our venues space restrictions. Our celebration is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation. If you have an RSVP card that says "Guest: ___" than you did receive a plus one and we ask that you please fill in the name of the guest who will be attending with you when you send their RSVP card back so we can include their name on the seating chart. Or if you choose not to bring a guest please leave it blank and mark decline on their card when you send it back. If you did not receive one of these RSVP guest cards, then unfortunately we did not have the room to provide you with a plus one and we ask that you kindly respect this and know that we still look forward to celebrating with you! Thank you.
While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event (with the exception of our nieces and nephews) so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us!
We are asking our guests to get to the Barn at Walnut Grove between 3- 3:15pm on September 13, 2025, because we will need to bus everyone up the hill and get everyone seated in the pews before the wedding starts at 4pm. If you arrive early, you are welcome to go to the bar or have some water while you wait for the bus to take you up the hill. If you arrive at 4pm, unfortunately, you will miss the ceremony because they will no longer be able to take you up to the ceremony site.
While we are not having a black tie wedding, we still think a wedding is a great opportunity to dress up a bit to celebrate in style. As such, we are asking everyone to come in semi-formal attire. For women this can mean midi or maxi dresses, skirts, pantsuits, jumpsuits, etc. For men, suits are appropriate, but not required. A dress shirt, or any nice shirt, with khakis is also appropriate. If you think garden party attire than you are on the right track. Please see "https://www.theknot.com/content/what-to-wear-semi-formal" if you need further help with what falls under semi-formal. We kindly ask for our guests to avoid traditional bridal colors (ivory, white, cream) and champagne colored outfits. Also, we encourage women to be cautious of what types of heels they choose to wear as the ceremony will be in grass. We know you all will look fabulous!
Yes! We will have various types of vehicles available to get guests up and down the hill to and from the ceremony site. Then the cocktail hour is outdoors and accessible without stairs and then we will have the first two tables reserved for those who have a more difficult time walking. Finally, the reception area, is right around the corner from the cocktail hour but we have a golf cart we can use to transport anyone who needs assistance getting there from cocktail hour.
We are offering a buffet! So you'll have so many choices of yummy food at our wedding and trust us its all DELICIOUS!!! :)
Great Question! We will be partying and having fun until about 10pm at which point we will do a bubble send off for some fun pictures and a bus or shuttle will take any guests that need a ride to the Delta hotel.
Yes! It is an open bar! That being said, we want our guests to have fun, let loose and celebrate along with us, but please also remember this is not a frat party, this is a formal event. Also please remember there are shuttle options available through the delta hotel to get to the venue, as well as a bus from our venue at the end of the night- we do not want anyone drinking and driving! Please drink responsibly! Now lets have some fun and drinks are on us!!!
Yes! There is parking at the venue! If you choose to drive to The Barn at Walnut Grove, please follow the signs directing you where to park. If you do not wish to drive, there is also hotel shuttles from the Delta that run 12-6pm. In addition, there will be a venue bus that will do a scheduled pickup before the wedding at the Delta hotel at 3pm (leaving at 3:15pm) and drop offs after the reception at the Delta hotel as well starting at 10:15pm.
Yes but only if you are staying at the Delta hotel. The Delta Hotel will be offering a shuttle bus from noon-6pm for wedding guests whether they book through the hotel block or not. In addition, our wedding venue will have their own private bus that will do a pick up prior to the ceremony at the Delta hotel (at 3pm) and drop offs at the Delta hotel after the reception (10:15pm; posted under "schedule" tab of this website for more info). These are the only two forms of transportation we will be providing but parking is also available at the wedding venue. We are not providing transportation to/from any other hotels unfortunately.
Yes! The ceremony and cocktail hour are outside, weather permitting! The reception will be inside. We cannot wait to see you there!
