Rehearsal at The Alexander Homestead

5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Casual Attire: Anything goes, from sundresses and sandals to jeans and tees.

This is for the wedding party only! Everyone else can feel free to relax at the hotel and enjoy some beverages. There will not be a meal provided at the rehearsal, but we would love to get together with everyone who is in town afterwards. We would like to invite everyone to join us in the hotel lounge for appetizers and conversation! Food, coffee, water and tea will be provided by us, if you'd like an alcoholic beverage from the bar you are welcome to purchase them! Rehearsal Attendees are: Kelsie & Elwood, Frank Arbour Jr, Frank Arbour III, Saylor Tribou, Brenda Davis, Temika Martin, Amber Barker, Brock Kirkland, Mark Horner, Robbie DePalma & Alice DePalma.

Our Ceremony

6:00 pm - 11:00 pm

Semi-formal: Please wear what makes you comfortable within reason. We know you all clean up nice!

We will have a cocktail hour during photos immediately following the ceremony, please feel free to enjoy a complimentary beverage while you wait! Our ceremony will be outside and should only be about 20 minutes long. The reception will be in a heated/air conditioned (depending on the weather) barn which should keep everyone comfy! The average temperature in Charlotte in March is usually between 50 - 70 degrees. We will be serving a buffet of BBQ foods including pulled pork, pulled chicken served with three North Carolina style BBQ sauces, baked beans, corn bread, and mac & cheese. There will be an open bar with beer and wine as well as coffee, tea and water available.
