Her Story: A true modern day romance, we met during the Spring of 2016 at an Elon University fraternity party. Reid asked if I wanted to play some beer pong. After some good banter and points scored (from Reid's side not mine), we hit it off… a few weeks later Reid made his move and tossed a football at me (picture below), in hopes I would catch it. I did not. Reid used this as a great opportunity to ask for my number and hey the rest is history. BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE... We went our separate ways as Reid graduated and went off into the "real world," and I stayed behind to complete study abroad in London and spend two more years at Elon. In fact, we REALLY went our separate ways because seven years rolled by, new jobs, cities, and memories. Yet, one afternoon in the Spring of 2022, Reid reached out, and after an amazing date in the city, we picked up right where we left off. The second we reconnected, we knew it was forever from there. His Story: I could not figure out what this beautiful big eyed and big handed girl’s deal was. She was very bubbly, had a boyish sense of humor that could make anyone laugh. She also was terrible at beer pong as Kelsie's side of the story correctly states. Fast forward five (not seven) years to the beginning of the summer of 2022 we experienced amazing parts of life without each other, but I could not forget the joy of Kelsie's companionship. After some convincing, Kelsie agreed to go on a date. Three weeks later, she came to visit my hometown of Newport where we now live and we hope all of you can visit for the wedding. I met her wonderful family in Avalon, NJ for her birthday, and we played golf together at the course where we would get engaged two years later to the day. We look forward to continuing our lifetime of memories with all of you as we begin our happily ever after on July 4th, 2025! XOXO
