Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Can I bring a date?

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation

Where are the ceremony, cocktail hour and the reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony will be on the beach (so wear appropriate footwear). The cocktail hour will be poolside at the Holiday Inn Resort. The reception will be in the ballroom at the Holiday Inn Resort.

Where are you registered?

Answer

Check the "Registry" tab on our website for all information. We have a fully stocked house so we are asking for help with our honeymoon fund instead of physical gifts. However, if you feel more comfortable with a physical gift, we are happy with whatever you choose.

What if I want to donate my services to the cause instead of give a gift?

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

During the ceremony, we ask that no technology is used so that everyone can enjoy the beach atmosphere and the wedding. However, during cocktail hour and the reception, absolutely! We encourage guests to post pictures onto their social media channels. Our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #ClarksByTheOcean so we can keep track of all of your pictures!

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

There is a hotel block at the Holiday Inn Resort - check the "Travel" tab on our website. Prices range from $179-199/night for Friday and Saturday nights. There are plenty of places to stay in the area if you want to go with something different!

Will I have to pay for parking?

Answer

Parking in front of the hotel is free. Be sure to arrive early and you should have plenty of spots to choose from

May I take a centerpiece/candle/flowers home as a souvenir?

Answer

All decorations are actually property of the hotel so we will have a separate wedding favor for all of our guests!

Who do I call if I get lost on the day of the wedding?

Answer

Anyone but the bride and groom! If you are unsure, ask beforehand and we will give you a contact person at the wedding for any questions!
