Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant

Coopers Hawk is located on the Plaza and is a fun spot to take a shopping break and do an $8 wine tasting!

Country Club Plaza

This is where Phil popped the question!! We have both lived on The Plaza the last 5 years and it holds a very special place in our hearts. It is known for great shopping & restaurants. We recommend Gram & Dunn, Rye, True Food Kitchen, The Granfalloon, and O'Dowds.

Char Bar

After you fill up on the competition barbecue at Char Bar, step into the backyard and start a friendly competition of your own. The Westport restaurant’s large assortment of lawn games includes croquet, bocce and sand bags—or just relax and curl up by the fire pits.

Old Westport

Westport is a great spot for those interested in some day drinking. Some spots we love are Char Bar, Alehouse, Kelly's (this is a go to for Iowa State fans), Harrys, and the list goes on. You really can't go wrong with any of the bars!

Jack Stack Barbecue | Freight House

National WWI Museum and Memorial

The National WWI Museum is located just south of downtown on your way to the Plaza. There is a great tour full of history and you can take an elevator ride to the top of the tower for spectacular views of the city!

Up-Down KC

Game on. From Pac-Man to Punch-Out, Up-Down raises the bar with more than 50 arcade games from yesteryear plus skee-ball, Nintendo and Sega console games. The extensive craft beer menu includes a long list of Kansas and Missouri brews.

Boulevard Brewing Company

This is Kansas City's largest local brewery. They have some pretty awesome brews. Our favorites are Tank 7, KC Pils, and of course the classic Boulevard Wheat. They offer tours and have a fun bar upstairs with board games and a nice terrace.

Yard House

City Market

Ride the KC Streetcar north towards the River Market neighborhood, where you'll find The City Market, home diverse dining options and the region's largest farmers market—perfect for finding flowers, produce and more.

Mission Taco Joint - East Crossroads

Power and Light District

Our venue is in the heart of the Power & Light district. Each guest will get free access and drink specials to Power & Light after the reception ends!

Parlor

Parlor is a multi-level food hall that is located in the Crossroads district. It has a bunch of different restaurants with great food and good vibes.

West Bottoms

The West Bottoms has a bunch of great antique shops! It is full of charm and there are some great bars in that area as well.

Tom's Town Distilling Co.

Tom’s Town is both distillery and tasting room, a perfect combination that can be found right in the heart of the Crossroads Arts District. They have award-winning vodka and gin as well as amazing whiskey drinks in an old school atmosphere.

The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art

The Nelson is a great spot for those who appreciate the arts! Whether you go in for a tour or just visit the grounds, you'll be impressed.

Rye Plaza

The BEST fried chicken sandwich in Kansas City. They have a great brunch as well!

Topgolf

Part hangout and part high-tech golf experience, a new kind of golf experience where compete play in point and target-based games. The new year-round crowd pleaser in Overland Park includes 102 climate-controlled hitting bays, games, restaurants and a rooftop beer garden perfect for a nightcap.

Cigar Box

Super fun around 8 pm. Old school Italian vibes and our pal Al takes the mic and performs all the classics... If you're lucky, he'll let you sing along ;-)
