Austin and Kelsi’s love story began on January 1, 2024, when God brought them together on Hinge. Austin had downloaded the app, and Kelsi was his first match. From their first date on January 9—dinner at Bordino’s, followed by drinks at Vault in Fayetteville—it was clear there was something special between them. Just one month later, on February 10, Austin asked Kelsi to be his girlfriend on the Fayetteville square, and from that day forward, they were inseparable. Their relationship quickly became a beautiful partnership, strengthened by life’s biggest challenges. Together, they navigated graduating law school, studying for the bar exam, demanding work schedules, and even long distance. Every obstacle only deepened their love and confirmed that they were meant to walk through life side by side. On April 6, 2024, Austin asked Kelsi the most important question of all. What began as a rainy day changed into one of the brightest moments of their lives. At Sassafras Winery, in a chapel filled with photos capturing their love story, Austin led Kelsi down a pathway to a table adorned with flowers. There, he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. Through happy tears, Kelsi said “yes” without hesitation—marking the beginning of forever.
