We had mutual friends through school and connected online through messaging until we met in person at one of our mutual friend’s wedding reception on May 4, 2019. Kelsey bumped into a glass bottle that shattered on the floor when Michael walked up to dance with her. With our sense of humor, it immediately lightened the awkwardness we both share. From then on, we have been inseparable.

Michael brought Kelsey and her family to the Polar Express train ride in St. Louis, MO. When we got out of the car, in our pajamas and excited to see the train, Michael got down on one knee! A magical Christmas experience that changed everything. We share a love for Christmas and spending time with those we love which made this the perfect time of year to get engaged.
