Will and I glamorously met over the internet, as many other couples in our generation now do. I matched with Will in the summer of 2023, just after receiving my graduate degree in education. I knew I wanted to move out East to be closer to my mom and sister, and that is how our story begins. Living on opposite sides of the country and being over two thousand miles apart, I had no idea this stranger would become my soulmate and best friend. Our first conversation over text quickly turned into a 3 hour long phone call. Will continued to call me and we'd talk for hours while I spent my time packing. Phone calls then turned into facetimes, and I recall sitting outside my hotel in Florida, halfway to Virginia, thinking of nothing else but him. Finally, after three weeks of anticipation, Will and I met at Two Silos in Manassas. It's safe to say we fell hard and fast for each other. Days after were spent at concerts, meeting Will's friends, and other adventurous that leave with me a core memory of my new life here in Virginia. The rest is history.
