Question

How do we plan for the weather?

Answer

Really good question. It looks like it will be between 50 - 60. Dress warm!

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

Excellent question! The short answer is, please park in one of the two big lots that are less than a five minute walk to the venue. Signs will guide you on your way! Address: Riley Lake Park Pavilion, 9180 Riley Lake Rd, Eden Prairie, MN 55347 For the long answer, please check out the travel tab that has lots of information at this link: https://www.zola.com/wedding/kelseyandthomasoctober22/travel

Question

Getting Home After the Reception

Answer

We STRONGLY recommend that if you intend to uber or lyft home for the evening - schedule your ride on either app. If there is a large demand for Ubers at the end of the wedding, or throughout the night, there may not be enough drivers in the area to take people home. (Or find friends to carpool with!)

Question

Can we do anything to help reduce waste at the wedding?

Answer

Yes! If you want: BYOC. "Bring your own cup" One huge way to reduce waste is to ask our guests to bring their own cup and keep track of it. (Good luck). Your cup CANNOT be glass! We will have cups to use at the reception.

Question

Kids?

Answer

We ask you to plug your name into the 'RSVP' section to see what your invite says.

Question

Can I bring a plus one or a date?

Answer

Please reference your RSVP page for information on this.

Question

What is the wedding COVID policy? Masks?

Answer

We require that all attendees at the wedding be vaccinated. A negative COVID test will not replace the requirement to be vaccinated. The venue will largely be outdoors and have ample airflow. We will not be requiring masks, but feel free to wear one if that makes you more comfortable.

Question

Why a 'low waste wedding'?

Answer

"Be the change you wish to see in the world" We are passionate about reducing our footprint in the world, and making choices that are smart for us, our neighbors, the wildlife and outdoors we care so deeply about. We believe that we ask future generations to inherit our choices and even the decisions we make at our wedding can be a place to be impactful. Other ways we are reducing our impact: We only bought used decorations, and intend on passing them on. The majority of the way we've ordered food and beverages maximizes our ability to reduce plastic, metal, and liquid use. We asked our wedding party to only shop for items they'll use many more times and/or wear something they already own. We ask that you do your part and BYOC if you wish (don't worry if your forget - we will have extra.)
