Best Man
Mark and I have become close through a number of shared trials and difficulties. From career ending football injuries, to a flooded house, to tough bike rides, to a few cold and rainy nights without a tent on a backpacking trip, we’ve learned that shared suffering can turn strangers into brothers. Mark and I continue to bond over these stories, but also over some of life's biggest questions. Mark is a junior high teacher and coach and is probably better than you at every sport you’ve ever played.
Groomsman
Colin could very well be a mutant. The jury is still out due to his freakish speed and strength, and his deep fascination with comics. On a more serious note, Colin is a true workhorse and it shows in every aspect of his life. I’ve shared more laughs with him than most (especially during last year’s Ireland trip), but he is also incredibly thoughtful and wise. I also know for a FACT he doesn’t party. Colin is a coworker of mine.
Groomsman
Nick is a real man’s man. Firefighter, tradesman, steer-wrestler, alpine skier, mountain biker, hunter - he does it all and does it all well. More importantly, he truly respects and takes care of people. I look up to him like an older brother, and am incredibly thankful for his investment in me since I moved to CO. Nick is a coworker.
Groomsman
Dan is a true renaissance man. I’ve personally seen him receive a standing ovation from a couple thousand people after singing “If I Were a Rich Man” in full costume, ask deep philosophical questions while stroking his majestic beard, jam out on an accordion, and squat over 700 pounds on his back. Dan has a giant heart and an impressive mind. He has been a real encouragement to me since the day we met, and I knew early on that he would someday stand up in my wedding. Dan is currently working towards his PsyD and is probably already inside your mind.
Maid of Honor
Brit has always been the person I looked up to. She is unwavering in leading the way, holding me up, building me higher, and challenging me. From "borrowing" her clothes, to trying to follow in every footprint she has left for me - Brit is always around to be my biggest cheerleader.
Matron of Honor
Ash is the person you would always want on your team - regardless of whether you were facing an athletic competition, an intelligence test, or a cooking show. If she was on the opposing team, I would strongly recommend forfeit. She has been the consistent rock of support in my life, and I am so grateful for her love and support.
Bridesmaid
Zoe and Kelsey met in college, and became tight as tight can be by living together in a single room senior year. There have been tons of flights across the US for visits, many Jack & Cokes ordered, and endless tubs of Ben & Jerry's Phish Food eaten between these two. Zoe has been a rock throughout college and transitioning to adulthood. She got the call from Kelsey the night that Ryan and Kelsey met!
Bridesmaid
Ava and Kelsey go waaaaay back - to when Kelsey used to babysit for her and her brother Benton. Thanks to Kelsey's mom and Ava's dad, Ava and Kelsey are now sisters-in-love! I am grateful for the passion Ava has for learning, competing, growing, and being a part of the wonderful family we are so lucky to have.
