Are kids welcome?

Black Butte Ranch is an amazing place for families! We would love to see you and your children during the week. However, the wedding ceremony and reception will be an adults-only event.

When should I arrive?

Answer

We will be at the Ranch starting July 2 and welcome you to join us for some fun activities during the week leading up to the wedding. If you are only able to make it for the weekend, no problem! In that case, we advise arriving no later than Friday, July 7.

Where should I stay?

Answer

#1: Stay at Black Butte Ranch -- this will minimize your driving and will allow you to spend the most time with us! #2: Stay at Suttle Lodge -- this is the closest hotel to the Ranch! Please check out the Travel tab for additional recommendations.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We kindly ask that you wear Black Tie Attire to the Wedding Ceremony and Reception. Please email us if you have any questions regarding attire.

What is the weather like at Black Butte Ranch?

Answer

Black Butte Ranch is located in the high desert of Central Oregon, meaning it can get warm during the day and cold at night. July usually has a high of 85 and a low of 46. We suggest bringing a jacket or shawl to the Wedding Ceremony.
