If you don't know these people, break bread with them soon & you'll see why they're on this page.

Jeremy Moisson

Best Man

During their college years, Jer asked Nate if he had thought about what his future wedding might look like. Nate said that he didn't know who would be facing him at the altar but he knew who would standing right behind him. And once Kelsey had said yes, Nate texted Jer that night to "Get ready Mr. Best Man". For over 17 years now Nate and Jer have shared a love for live funk music, super smash bros, "A Wiki of Ice and Fire" conspiracy theories, deep talks about human behaviors/assumptions, and succulent pulled pork sammys. Over the years, Nate has relied on Jer's intellectual and emotional wisdom on all matters ranging from past relationships to new kitchen recipes. Nowadays you can find them vacationing together on North Haven island

Jessie Cuomo

Matron of Honor

Jessie and Kelsey met in graduate school both studying biology. Proximity brought them together, but Backstreet Boys and late night pizza (hawaiian with sriracha) in the lab sustained the friendship. Separated by an ocean for three years didn’t stop them from spending time together - many hours were spent over zoom and three weeks were spent galavanting all over England and France together. Now, Jessie and Kelsey live in the same town - and when they aren't whipping up a delicious meal together, will still order a pizza out.

Alec Gerhardt

Groomsman

High school acquaintances turned roommates turned close friends, Alec and Nate began their friendship by bonding over their love of super smash bros (original N64), 70s music and trying to replicate different Asian cuisines. The sounds of Carol King, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, and Steely Dan accompanying the smell of Massaman curry truly brought both of them closer together. Nowadays you can find Alec and Nate in the kitchen trying to impress one another with their newest culinary creations.

Marian Wahl

Bridesmaid

Marian and Kelsey also met in graduate school (we're all biology nerds). Kelsey (and Jessie) politely demanded she be their friend and it stuck. From surprising Marian at her thesis defense, to visiting all of Marian’s favorite places in northern California, and with zillions of texts, Kelsey and Marian have sustained a strong friendship even though they have not lived in the same state for over five years. You will most likely find Marian and Kelsey together drinking tea, sharing pictures of their pets, and arguing about things like knowing the names of all the deserts.

Timmy Grove

Groomsman

Timmy and Nate met on the court playing tough defense and setting pick 'n rolls against one another in the Groton Rec League. Through competition they found a deeper connection that led to multiple The Dear Hunter concerts and the creation of Celtics themed dinner parties coined "Dumplings and Dunks". Timmy is also responsible for the hundreds of hours of Bon Iver on Nate's spotify and general obsession for indie folk music. Nowadays you can find them waiting in line for the next Bon concert or at a fire pit appreciating the little things.

Jessica Sorge

Bridesmaid

Jess and Kelsey have known each other since high school, but their friendship blossomed from working a part-time job at Shaws as teenagers. They were always getting into trouble there (or was it just kelsey?) and made some of the best memories during those late nights in the soup aisle. Jess and Kelsey have accumulated half a lifetime of memories together, celebrating big events, hosting friends-givings, and spending weekends at the lakehouse. These days you can find them out at brunch, playing board games with friends, and hanging out in the pool in the summertime.

Duncan MacLeod

Groomsman

Duncan actually despised Nate when they first met in the Groton Rec League due to Nate's patented "scream-at-your-opponent" defense. It wasn't until a couple of shared high school classes together did their bromance flourish. Precious time was spent laughing at early youtube clips, belting out Rock Band songs, engaging in intense board game nights, partying after the 28-3 Patriots SuperBowl comeback, and drinking Treehouse beers together during a summer BBQ. Nowadays you can find them hanging out at Duncan's home watching "I Think You Should Leave" episodes and quoting them nonstop.

Katie Pratka

Bridesmaid

Kelsey accidentally crashed Katies vacation to Florida back in 2014 and they’ve been friends ever since. Spending four years as roommates after college, they bonded over cats, wine, and board games - which also got them through the early pandemic days together. Yearly trips to Saco, Ski-weekend, New years eve parties, and brewery hangouts with board games sustain the friendship. Katie is passionate and fun - so you’ll find her screaming her heart out and busting moves on the dance floor at the wedding!

Jason Biggs

Groomsman

Just as Squidward was a true friend to SpongeBob, Jason's stoic and reserved nature has endured Nate's chaotic and tireless nonsense for about 20 years now. He was Nate's first friend in MA and they have remained close ever since. Years of brutal cross country practices, brewing countless coffees at Dunkin Donuts, screaming at Coheed and Cambria concerts together, and long talks about life have created a wonderful friendship. Nowadays you can find them texting about the Celtics, arguing about Premier League (COYS), and learning about the sleeping habits of his children.

Kyle Tuppa

Groomsman

There's family and then there's family that you look for and hug first when you enter the Christmas party. Technically cousins but realistically brothers, Kyle and Nate have been thick as thieves since the early years. The've shared a plethora of incredible memories ranging from Pokemon battles, delicious Barnacle Billy's lobsters, afternoon dog walks with Bo & Bella, Gears of War marathons, arguing over the best flavor of ICEEs (obviously blue raspberry), and seeing Blue Oyster Cult, Van Halen, Foo Fighters, and Eddie Money live (thank you Jon Tuppa). Kyle's unwavering and steadfast friendship has been an essential pillar for Nate growing up. Nowadays you can find them together near an Ogunquit beach enjoying a cold Lone Star (nothing snooty).

Bryce Tuppa

Groomsman

There's family and then there's family that you get in trouble with for laughing too loud in public. More brothers than cousins, Bryce and Nate fall into the latter constantly cracking each other up until tears are shed and breathing is labored. Good times usually follow wherever these two go. Growing up together made fond memories of Sunday morning NFL picks, cheering each other on in rec basketball, screaming ADEMA songs in car rides, cul-de-sac football games, losing at Fast Draw Showdown's final cowboy, fake wrestling, turning off the tv when an animal gets hurt, and staying up too late during sleepovers. Bryce and Nate have an irreplaceable friendship that has been the basis for their shared absurd humor and personalities. Nowadays you can find them screaming at Celtics games together or Bryce taking care of Mochi and Panko when Nate and Kelsey are on vacation.

Jim Moisson

Officiant

They say that cooking is an expression of love and there has never been a shortage of home cooked meals for Nate in Jimmy's kitchen. The smell of roasted garlic accompanied by a warm bear hug was a tradition Nate came to expect when seeing Jim. Under his tutelage, Jimbo showed Nate the art of an arugula salad, the secret to eggplant, "less is more" when it comes to fish tacos, and the only way to make homefries. So it only made sense that Jim would meet Kelsey at the Groton homestead over an authentic meal and a bottle of wine. Their mutual love has only grown over time, and Kelsey and Nate are honored to have a good friend like Jim marry them.
