Maid of Honor
Sarah and I met back in the sixth grade, at West Middle school. Our beautiful friendship all began with a "howdy y'all." Since middle school, our relationship has been full of belly laughs, words of encouragement and support, and always being there for each other even when we are not physically together. We've come a long way since that faithful day in middle school and now I am honored to have the smartest, sweetest, most beautiful person I know, standing next to me on my big day.
Best Man
Well I guess I’ve known Tim since day one. We have driven everyone crazy with our constant bickering to call it lightly. But we have always had the special connection that comes with a brother and I couldn’t imagine anyone else being my best man.
Bridesman
Allison is my older sister. She and I are very different but very much the same in a lot of ways. Our high strung personalities often clash but at the end of the day, she is the first person to say she loves me and complement me when I am feeling down on myself. She is the sister that is always thinking of her sisters and what may make them smile.
Groomsman
It was by chance that David got placed into my dorm room my sophomore year at Lake State. That first night he lived with me we instantly became best friends when he called me after having a few too many, and was lost in the big city of Sault Ste. Marie.
Bridesmaid
Catherine, is my fellow middle child! We are probably the most similar to each other. The two of us share everything from our clothes to our interest in the health industry even to some of our friends. She loves to bake while I love to cook. And she studied dietetics while I studied fitness. While sometimes these similarities cause us to butt heads, I happily consider her one of my best friends.
Groomsman
Trevor and I lived next door to each other our Freshman year at Lake State. It only took a little Jack Daniels’ and outdoor adventures and we were best friends. David, Trevor and myself were quite the trio at Lake State.
Bridesmaid
I affectionately call Jessica, Booger. She is the baby sister, even though we have been asked if we are twins (I don't see it lol). In all seriousness, she is (just like my other two sisters) one of my best friends. Jessica is the workaholic that is only ever immediately available on snapchat. Someday she will be introducing us all to very famous people because she will be a big wig in the film industry.
Groomsman
It was always a joke in the Hecksel family that wherever there was Pat there was Matt. I have always looked at Pat as more than a cousin but an older brother I aspire to be like.
Bridesmaid
Katie is Matt's little sister. She is one of the most beautiful people I have ever met, inside and out. She is only a year older than me but she has accomplished so much and I look up to her as a role model and a friend. I cannot wait for the day that I get to call her my sister.
Groomsman
Corey has always been a close cousin of mine even though he has always lived far away. Whenever I get to spend time with him it’s always like hanging out with a best friend; even if I haven’t seen him for years.
Bridesmaid
My dear sweet Vic. She is one of the smartest, kindest, and most beautiful people that I know. Victoria started as Catherine's friend but quickly weaseled her way into my heart and now she is stuck with me forever. I feel blessed to have her stand up in my wedding.
Groomsman
We were randomly selected to the same hockey team back when I was in 5th grade. We only played on the same team for two years but we became such good friends over the years that our family’s have become very close.
Dog of Honor
Lulu wishes she could be present for the big day but she is not able to. She our fur baby and the happiest thing to happen to us. Her favorite things are snuggles, boat rides, and play-dates with her friends. She is an avid mole hunter and dabbles in bird catching as well. And she cannot wait to have one last name.
