Will children be allowed?

Answer

We would love to have your children there for the ceremony! However, unfortunately due to rather limited space at the reception venue, we are asking that the only mini-you's you bring are those that will be sat on your lap and held during the reception. There will be a lot of people in a limited space and we don't want any of your littles getting hurt! We're so sorry in advance for any inconvenience this may cause ):

Can I take pictures in the church during the ceremony?

Answer

We are respectfully asking that our ceremony be an "unplugged" ceremony! We will have a professional photographer at the ceremony and would be more than happy to share the pictures with you as soon as we get them back! We have heard horror stories about people getting their professional pictures back and their photo being filled with phone screens. As thrilled as we are that you would like to document our special day, we would much rather see your faces than your phones in our pictures (: At the reception, however, you are more than welcome to utilize your phones/cameras for pictures/videos/etc!

Where do I park for the ceremony?

Answer

There is a parking garage just before the church on Church Street. It is usually free on weekends, so no need to worry about paying! Just park in the garage, then come back out to the sidewalk and continue along Church Street until you get to the church!

Are the ceremony and reception are at different locations?

Answer

Yes, they are! The ceremony will be held at Evangelical Lutheran Church in Downtown Frederick. The reception will be held at the Richland Golf Club in Middletown (~20 minutes away). There will be approximately an hour of "free time" between the end of the ceremony and the start of the cocktail hour at the reception venue - so take your time traveling and maybe check out a bit of Downtown (:
